We still feel compelled to spend 1/3 of football money on baseball and 1/3 on basketball.

At this point, I'd be happy if we spent the other third on football. Instead, we're crying poor mouth and have our hand out, while showering all other sports with riches.

Yes, that is the hilarious point. Go spend an incredible amount on baseball then say we may or may not spend money on football IF you increase giving.

No mea culpa from these arrogant fvkks. Theyve been stashing money in their own pockets for a decade and spending what little money they did spend on nonrevenue sports.

All while Gator Nation continued to be top 5 in giving.

Now they want even more before they will build anything for football.

That whole fvkking AD office needa an enema.

We are never going to have gold-plated toilets but there are wow factors to consider with uniforms, trophies etc. We probably should have video screens all over the building looping fun and gun and Tebow days, along with championship trophy presentations just to remind these kids. Videos of NFL stars as Gators. Walls w kids faces and all sec or better accomplishments. Walls or videos showing championship teams, so they have a desire to.write something permanently in the building not just three and done.

These kids dont even remember when we were even SEC champs.

Make sure to throw in some video of the Chump and McEltag years just so they know what it's like when you half ass everything or just flat out suck ass.

A friend went to the gymnastics meet vs. AU and said there were 9k there. He was told they’re the 3rd most attended sport & close to catching hoops. That made me wonder if they are close to paying for themselves, but tickets are much less, few boosters and little TV money, so I doubt it.

most of those meets are basically free.... my parents take my nieces to them all the time. I don't think they are close to pay for themselves.

You would have really loved the women's equestrian team Foley was gonna nestle between these two projects.

In advertising promotions you present only positives ... and you hammer those home. So Swonkey is 100% right on multi-video screens touting Florida's Fun & Gun and the great Tebow games, and certainly confetti-rain Trophy presentations. (should also show our back-to-back NC basketball boys)

Recruits should be inspired to recapture greatness. Greatness belongs here. Newcomers should feel that way.
