I have no idea what that means.
He is riding the pine at Washington. What happened to that Eason fellow
He had to sit out last year due to his transfer. (Clearly didn't hire the lawyers Fields did.) Supposedly will be starting next season. He is riding the pine at Washington.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. You could make anything up to fit those retarded parameters.show "the transfer is due to documented mitigating circumstances that are outside the student-athlete's control and directly impact the health, safety and well-being of the student-athlete."

It will become known as the snowflake rule.It smacks of “safe space” adjudication
Here's a link to an article with quotes from Fields' lawyer that clarify the reasons for the transfer request. Or not!
It sure seems that attorneys can use lots of words and say nothing. I can't find anything in the article that I would say was "clarification". On the other hand, both he and Fields do seem to squash the racial slur conspiracy theory.
Justin Fields' lawyer: NCAA waiver had nothing to do with racism
Typical lying lawyer. No way they didn't play the race card. None. Otherwise there's no way he gets a waiver. "Hey, I want to transfer because it looks like I won't start next year!"
People mocking him for failing to keep Kirby from Kirbying on a fake punt.It does seem a bit mystifying as to what could have been so traumatic as to justify a transfer with immediate playing time.
