Back on the bubble. Quad 3 loss.
Absolutely correct. We needed this win. It's not far-fetched that we lose out and then even one win in the SEC tournament probably isn't enough,
Dawgs played some tough D and Claxton showed how valuable is a 6’11” athletic scorer.
Did he show how valuable he was in their 14 SEC loses? That is a really really bad team that Mike White and Co. just lost to....at home....in a close out game that pretty much guaranteed an NCAA birth. Now if we lose as expected against what are probably the 2 best teams on the SEC we will most likely need 2 wins in the SECT to get a bid. It's impossible to overstate how bad of a loss for Mike White that was.

Here's the truth: we let our standards across the board fall. Maybe not in <insert prefered wemmens sport>, but we did in our money makers. **** happens. With a very mediocre football roster, we saw what a coach who demands excellence produced. We are now back to expecting this program where it should be. After dumping more money into the O Dome than football has seen in a decade, the excuses for this bs should be over. Mike White does not mesh with the Gator Standard and Strickland needs to find someone who does.

That’s true unless your name is samjam or whatever then you think we’re all crazy and White should be coach of the year in the sec

Looking at the box score, we only had a second string team playing tonight. Why didn't White bring first stringers? How can I like the coach we have? Better yet, can somebody explain why Gator fans like Mike White as Gator HC? Haven't you noticed that White erodes the skills of every player he manages.?? Allen was real good as a freshman - he has digressed when normalcy is to get better. We've seen Hudson's slide down. Hayes had double figure scoring games as a freshman. How can a program tolerate such? Where will this program be in coming years?

Only good thing is we were a projected 8 seed before the loss...so probably a 10 or 11 now. Dont lose to a crap team in the SEC tournament or beat LSU again and it's still possible....not looking great though

A sec tournament win isn't gonna carry much weight. They never do. The committee isn't gonna reward us for being a lower seed.

Yeah, I know, so basically you're agreeing with me but sounding like your taking a dissenting opinion.

A single win in the SECT won't mean much if we lose to LSU and UK. Two wins would most likely get us a bid though because you will have to beat a pretty decent team in the second game. Basically we just burned our entire safety margin on one massive fail. Now we have to either try to beat a more talented team for the second time or find a way to win at Rupp, both of which are doubtful. Otherwise we need to real off at least a couple wins in the SECT, which I do believe would get us in, but not a guarantee.

Georgia Southern. We all remember that football loss. In my book, this is right up there. I played ball in school. If I was a Gator on that court tonight, I would be ashamed. I'm not going to throw shade at anyone pissed at White. I get where you're coming from and I'll let you vent with no issue from me. As a former player, however, when you let a team you KNOW to be inferior talent wise to you with a piss poor record come into your house and dominate you, it's on YOU the players.

Cool, I'm so pissed off over this loss everything sounds like an argument lol.

I can't even deal with the idea of watching this team in the NIT, in fact I won't watch, or at least I feel that way tonight. They better find a way to get the second win against LSU somehow. There's no way we get lucky enough to face the steaming pile of waste that Calamari had on the court today. They went 14-44 and missed 10 FT and had 17 TO.

I watched some of the game. I saw some black dude who’s the commentator talk about Florida’s shoes and their practice area.

The part that stuck out to me is he was talking about the Final Four banners and the National Championship banners. He said he asked about where the Elite Eight banners were and the answer given to him, we don’t celebrate Elite Eight.

Effing BINGO. Yet some of you Douche Bags like to celebrate White and his tiddlywinks Elite Eight.

Yet this dysfunctional team could very well go to Lexington and spank Cal. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

Just watched the tape:
1)Off uga turnovers we had some nice uncontested 3's on the wing, shots all teams should and do take regularly. I don't believe we made one all night.
2)Nemhart probably got no rest in the second half I guess because of the chance his back might tighten up again.
3) The 1-3-1 late in the second half helped uga more than us
4) The long arms and height of uga hurt our mid range shots and inside game all night.
5) A a 7-8 minute stretch in the second half of no FGs is going to kill you, change something.
6) In a close game a call or two towards the end may well not go your way.

We have plenty of azaleas in the landscaping, just no tall pine trees in the middle.

It could happen, Cal's a pretty crappy coach, but they are more talented than us and we aren't likely to get as lucky as UT did with UK laying a total egg.

The Gators shot 18-48 (37.5%) from the field and 5-21 (23.8%) from beyond the arc.

The Bulldogs shot 23-41 (56.1%) overall, including 4-10 from three.

KeVaughn Allen and Noah Locke, two of the best shooters on the team, combined to score 12 points on 4-17 shooting, including 2-11 from three.

All of this on your home court. You can blame this on White if you want to. To me, this just looks like BB players not good enough to exhibit consistency in prime time. No excuse for not defending your home court against a bottom feeder. You have to have pride.

All these guys had to do was hit their shots.

By the way, for the record jboss was being a total dumper in the chat box and declaring the loss during the entire damn game. If he calls someone out again he's banned for life. Hit the "Report Post" button if you see him do it.

This team is beyond frustrating to watch. As of today they are likely headed to the NIT
