FSU still in pursuit of waiver for QB Jordan Travis

FSU still in pursuit of waiver for QB Jordan Travis

TALLAHASSEE -- Florida State is hopeful that quarterback Jordan Travis will receive a waiver from the NCAA that will make him eligible to play in the 2019 season.

Coach Willie Taggart said Monday, entering the first day of spring practice, that FSU was “still waiting” to hear on the waiver.

“Hopefully that will come through,” Taggart said.

Travis transferred to FSU from Louisville, where he played in three games before telling the Cardinals’ staff in November that he was transferring.

FSU’s quarterback depth is thin, placing a high level of importance on Travis receiving the waiver to become eligible. Currently, the lone quarterbacks on FSU’s roster who are eligible to play in 2019 are James Blackman (13 career starts), walk-on Nolan McDonald(a former three-star recruit who was in the program last season) and walk-on Alex Eleyssami. The Seminoles will also add Western Michigan transfer and former three-star prospect Wyatt Rector in May, although he will also need to apply for a waiver to become eligible for the 2019 season.

Travis is a former three-star recruit from The Benjamin School in North Palm Beach. He is currently practicing as the No. 3 QB on the depth chart at the onset of spring practice.

In the game of QB recruiting Wiltee has thrown all interceptions - going the other way.
So when that is noted, Wiltee rolls out and says: "I have a plan.... not gonna tell you right now." Then, he divulges further "We are interested in the transfer portal."...Well, the transfers portal is tilted away from FSU -- seems recruits have a plan too.

Even Mickey wanted out. :lol2:

At least when we got that excuse it was from a living legend coach that had actual kids to enjoy time with. Andrews is a washed up scumbag that no one likes, and probably has grandchildren in their 30s. This is rats off a sinking ship, nothing more.

An ox (plural oxen), also known as a bullock in Australia and India, is a bovine trained as a draft animal or riding animal. Oxen are commonly castrated adult male cattle; castration makes the animals more docile.
In England it translates to 'testicles'. But it also means 'poppycock' or BS, which we know you excel at. :bart:

"Bollocks" /ˈbɒləks/ is a word of Middle English origin, meaning "testicles". The word is often used figuratively in colloquial British English and Hiberno-English as a noun to mean "nonsense", an expletive following a minor accident or misfortune, or an adjective to mean "poor quality" or "useless". Similarly, common phrases like "Bollocks to this!" and "That's a load of old bollocks" generally indicate contempt for a certain task, subject or opinion.

Brad and I married Barners, I thought that was bad. Marrying a Nole? Uhh, no.
I married a Nole, but she also holds a degree from the Geneva Conservatory. Regardless of her higher degree, I still treat her like a captive squaw in the bedroom, especially after we play them in football. So there's that.
