Anybody can do it, and it's cheap. The hard part is actually getting people to come to it.

I know this douchebag that started one. It's OK, but he's certainly squeezed a good amount from me in the process. All I got in return was a special banner with sparkles.

I had no idea when I started this if you could actually make money. You hear about people having websites and ads and such but you just can't imagine making money that way. The first month I started putting up ads, I made something like $30, and was totally pumped! It's gotten better since then. Certainly not enough to quit my job, but making money doing something on the side that you love is truly the bees knees. None of this has ever been work for me.

Have you thought about reinventing your profits into advertising this site?

I can tell you from experience that it's a really bad idea to keep your site private and not let in any new members.

You gotta keep people coming in, because most of your old users won't stick around forever.

OX, you should sell everyone's private info to specific company's based on their likes and get kickbacks for it from the company's. You know like FacePENUS keeps people's info private and does not sell any of that stuff :lmao2::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I am not technologically savvy enough to do a web thing, although I can watch porn on the web. Maybe I can get compensated for that? Otherwise I am left scouring the bond and muni markets for my passive income!!!!

Way too greedy for that.

This is a niche site, so advertising would have to be very specific, like a billboard in Gainesville.

Is this why you’re pumping it up to one million posts? More better ad revenue? Getting ready to flip it to some other sucker? How much for GatorChatter? Asking for a friend.

I thought about web advertising on sites like fanatics.com or other sites that sell apparel. Perhaps local media websites in the Florida market.

But the Ox bux are awesome! Great for retirement.

Oxbucks are generating huge paper losses for Aaron that he'll be able to carry forward for YEARS, offsetting his passive income from this site. The complicated tax-avoidance scheme he's set up with them is ingenious. It involves a home office deduction for part of his bedroom, an offshore account in the Cayman Islands, a collapsible corporation in Luxembourg, and accelerated depreciation on his Miata. He'll be paying no income tax well past his retirement years.

Current value of Gatorchatter is $25,000. I would not sell it for that.

What's the current Oxbucks to USD conversion rate? I'm still trying to get paid my 1K OxBux from Pickem contest. Might have to put a lean on GatorChatter.

On a side note, do you get paid extra when they advertise the gay cruise line on GC or just free cruises?

Right? I would love to wear a Gatorchatter hat or shirt to Gator club events or even to games. Just saying.
Uh, I’ve been selling shirts for 4 years now. Have some in stock if you are interested. Hats too.
