This has been going on for years, and boss always acts innocent. He has an extremely annoying M.O. Instead of just giving his opinion, he calls out the "haters and complainers" when there are negative things said about anything in the program. Nine times out of ten, the "haters and complainers" turn out to be right, so when it's thrown back into his face, he says "yeah, I just to pull for my Gators no matter what". :rolleyes:
On the rare occasion that HE happens to be right, he crows from the mountaintops about the "haters" going into hiding, and being nowhere to be seen, etc, while as a perfect fan the Gators had his support all along. He would never fail them.
Basketball is the worst. When we lose, he's right there complaining along with everyone else, even thinks Mike White should be fired. Then suddenly we win a game and here he is crowing away, wondering where all the "haters and complainers" went, like he never complained a single time himself. It's maddening. If this were a real sports bar, he would have been knocked out ten times over.
So I tell him to stop, and he says he will. Over and over and over. And then he does it again.
This morning I got up and looked at the chat box. He had 12 or 15 posts in a row (he often posts alone in there) about UF's baseball comeback against FSU. He's saying (to himself) how MANY said this UF team wasn't any good. Then "just move those goal posts baby!!", which is his way of calling out the "haters and complainers" again.
I removed his access to the box until further notice.

Boss never really understood the concept of chatting. Frankly, he always clears out the box. But I thought most people just keep him on ignore.

drugged
His crime, I guess , was too many were bugged.
By his rambling posts and teasing and jabbing the the haters
but you gotta admit he loves all the gators
