First time I've heard this. Scouting report anyone?

I don't know how we let Braun from Georgia Tech get away to Texas. He could've been a starter at UF. It just makes no sense how we didn't land him.

This has been talked about for almost a year. He hasn't graduated yet, so it's on hold - and it's just speculation right now....but he'd be a starter Day 1.

Stewart Reese, 6'5 340lbs OT from Ft. Pierce, FL:

Given his academic accolades, I suspect that if he's on schedule to graduate, he graduates. Wonder if he still aspires to be a doctor. Are there enough hours in a day to sleep, play football, and go to medical school?

Exactly.

I expect last year to be the worst OL under Hevesy and Mullinz.
Talent wise? Maybe. Effectiveness? I expect the offense to take a step back this season because of the inexperienced/young line unless Mullen can develop a QB that can make quick decisions. Otherwise, opponents will stack the box and dare us to beat them running.

Why didn't we get Stewart Reese out of high school?
He was an SEC-level OL and we were looking at the Sunbelters bc Butters was shiwingnhis talent as 3 & 2 star Whisperer (aka laziest fvkking recruiter on the planet).

He was a true freshman in 2016 and redshirted, so it looks like he still has 2 years of eligibility if he transfers in. I'm not sure if he'll want to play two more in college - like Shuler is doing. But...he could. This would be a great pick up for us.

That's a whole lotta big butts. I wonder if the MSU guy is going to displace any of those five.

If he comes he's a starter Day 1, period.

In MSU's initial 1st spring practice report, Moorehead said that Reese was moved inside to OG and he's also cross training at Center. I'm not sure why they did this, he's a 2 year starter at OT. So, he's participating in their spring practices.
