This may have already been discussed somewhere in the 112 pages of this thread but is this Jerry Odom’s son?

Close, Jason Odom. No red hair.
That’s right! Jason Odom. For some reason, he’s one of few OL who always stuck out to me and I remember his playing days. I met him back then and he was a mountain of a man. I’d bet he be a dwarf in comparison to most O-lineman today. Those guys just keep getting bigger and bigger. Remember the days if you had ONE guy on a college team at 300lbs or more he was an anomaly?

I got a picture of something that won’t load but from the rumblings I’ve seen Bowman is making a Clemson commitment video right now...sucks but we gotta win something before these kids get on board I guess

QB being the primary back in the offense is always a hard sell for elite RBs. Has been all the way back to the CJ Spiller, Trent Richardson days.

We dont feature the tailback and can function with good but maybe not truly elite backs. I will be glad it is Clemson and not Ugly or Trailerbammer. They do have a lot to sell to RBs .

It is going to be the same thing w WRs We will continue to lose out to Clemson (and others) on elite WRs bc they have a vertical passing game.

It is what it is. We have a nice stable. This isnt a big deal.

So what we need is quality Oline depth and playmakers but not necessarily 5* talent everywhere else?

Im just being realistic. No matter what we want or dont want, Mullins couldnt land elite RBs or WRs (except Percy) even when he was here before. I dont expect that to change.

And our needs right now, we are in 911 mode, are DTs and ILBs. That I will lose sleep over, not Bowman.

Well that I get we’re desperate there...and we honestly need WRs more than RB right now

Anything solid yet? We'll be OK one way or the other, but losing this kid would still sting a bit.
