Considering wat coaches have been here prior to Musselman, (Trent Johnson 79-74, Mark Fox 123-43, David Carter 98-97) it’s a GREAT hire.

Anybody see where Barnes said he would have taken the UCLA job if they would have paid his $5mil buyout? I'm surprised he came out and admitted to this. Opposing coaches would be crazy not to use this against Tennessee when recruiting common players. I was afraid the fact that he turned down such a big name job would be a huge benefit for them in recruiting since he could very strongly argue that he wasn't planning to go anywhere. But it seems to me that he loses that benefit immediately with this information.
