While I appreciate his motives and creativity, he might to actually want to beat them before he trolls them too much.

He’s lost to them once as our head coach. Spurrier barely ever beat FSU and he ran his mouth the entire time. Nothing wrong with a little ribbing

You can’t count their bogus claim of the 1968 or 1946 titles those are bogus hardware and feed store titles like a lot of the titles Bama likes to claim. Their only real titles are 1942 and 1980. 1942 is also a sham because all the real men were off fighting a war while Georgia kept their team intact and was able to beat a bunch of schools fielding basically JV teams.

This speaks volumes about where we are and where we are headed. You never heard Mullen talk this way at Mississippi State. I think he's sending a message to his team and to recruits about his confidence level, and adding some extra mustard. It could backfire, but it's worth a shot.

It's very Spurrier-esque. And it's gotten under the skin of the semenholes, too. I work with an FSU guy and he got wind of Mullen hinting that he would announce the crowd as 41,140 and he is absolutely livid. Imagine, they lose one game to us and we poke a little fun at their expense and he gets all bent out of shape over it. It's glorious!
