Here's an article from the AJC. Draw your own conclusions....Any talk as to why
Any other Gators ranked highly (or lowly)? The Athletic's Dane Brugler released his Draft Guide. Over 200 pages on every player. While not surprising, it is surprising. We are Florida dammit. There's no excuse for having such little talent on the o-line.
Jawaan Taylor - Ranked 3rd among tackles. Top 15 pick.
Fred Johnson - Ranked 20th among guards. UDFA.
Martez Ivey - Ranked 40th among guards. UDFA
Tyler Jordan - Ranked 72nd among guards. UDFA
Kavaris Harkless - Ranked 75th among guards. UDFA
3 of those 5 couldn't even get combine invites. Johnson did get an invite, but was literally one of the last few in. Early 2020 draft rankings indicate Buchanan is a non-invite to the combine. If Mullen is going to take Florida to the next level, crap like this needs to change. I like the talent of the current crop of o-linemen. White and Tarquin are hanging in there. A few more guys will be here in the fall to compete. I put this here in the spring section because it gives an idea of what Mullen has been working with.

Thanks. Interesting stuff. Glad to see the experts are higher on Vosean than I am. I also would have thought Scarlett would be drafted higher.Jordan Scarlett - Ranked 25th among backs. 6-7th round.
Khairi Clark - Ranked 52nd among DTs. UDFA
Vosean Joseph - Ranked 8th among LBs. 3rd-4th round.
Chauncey - Ranked 4th among safeties. 2nd round.

On paper, this is one of the deepest runningback classes in a long time. Scarlett would be drafted higher in any other year. He picked the wrong time to leave Florida.
Worse than Mooooooody? That and he’s got quite possibly the worst set of hands I’ve ever seen in all my years watching football. In today’s pass happy league that doesn’t bode well for him
Worse than Mooooooody?
I dunno, I think that’s a wash
ExactlyDid moody ever play? I don’t remember him doing anything well or significant
Martez Ivey, another 5* bust. Between us and Auburn there is a healthy competition in 5* busts. I wonder who is winning. The Athletic's Dane Brugler released his Draft Guide. I am not sure about those draft grades though. Every one of those guys besides Harkless will be drafted. High rounds but they will be drafted.
I am pretty sure that Fred will be. I think that between Savage's S&C and Hevesy's coaching the light finally came on for him.Patriots line coach will make Martez and Fred all-pro tackles
If Taylor, Johnson, and Ivey all became solid NFL players, wouldn't it suggest that Butter's major problem was coaching and development, not evaluation and recruiting?Patriots line coach will make Martez and Fred all-pro tackles

Desperately holding on to your arguments that Butters' shyt recruiting wasn't really shyt, even as Butters classes now have less NFL talent than Kintucky. So, he took 75 shytty three stars (most low three stars) and you are happy that two might make it?If Taylor, Johnson, and Ivey all became solid NFL players, wouldn't it suggest that Butter's major problem was coaching and development, not evaluation and recruiting?
Good theory. Who would have ever predicted what they turned Trent Brown into?Patriots line coach will make Martez and Fred all-pro tackles
I think you mean low rounds.Martez Ivey, another 5* bust. Between us and Auburn there is a healthy competition in 5* busts. I wonder who is winning.
