Now if only he was an official poster here and got the automated birthday wish that would be great.

Wow, love that old clip. And how true the mission statement was considering how good Miami and FSU were in 1990. Just win Florida.

Happy Birthday, Coach. There are no words that can express what your impact on UF and gator football has been.
I was fortunate to watch you play in the 60s and even more fortunate to watch you coach all your home games in Gville.

SOS gave us the greatest years of football ever and it would be hard for anyone to top those years. I love the guy.

I thought it was obvious, make him an honorary member. Come to think of it, maybe a few others. Possibly those in the Ring of Honor.

But who would post for them, and doing that unless he accepted would be questionable. Now perhaps Ox should email him and see if he wants his own forum.

And hats off to the Swamp-Garth attendees for non-hypocrisy, hardly any cowboy hats in the music loving crowd.

HBD old gap wedge at the practice field himself.

My best SOS moment was during a HS football camp. During the second session when the QB's came in is when SOS would show up, and not before then. All these HS QB's were lined up passing the ball back and forth while the OBC was walking around observing. One big, tall kid was doing his best to get SOS's attention...........and he did. Coach walked up to the kid and asked him if he had ever played TE. Kid said no sir, always QB. Spurrier says, "well you ought to think about it" and keeps walking. :lol2:
