After the Spring Game Attendance number jokes and the new “14,000” tweets; what is the threat level of suicide among Dwag fans? Is it gonna be code red? Do they just whine and complain the Kirby finally isn’t the second coming of Saban?

When UF beat UGa this year, what ensues will depend on what happened before that game:

1. If UF once again has lost to UK or someone similar then it will just be the roller-coaster continuing.

2. If UF has protected the Swamp, then all the games that come after UGa will grow in importance.

I think if we beat Georgia, more than likely we would go to the SEC Championship. Unless of course we blow it against Tennessee (God, I hope not), or Kentucky again. As proud as I was of our guys last year, and I was incredibly proud, losing to those bastards the way we did last year was awful. Franks threw three horrid picks. Kirby is NOT their savior. He’s Saban 2.0 in terms of being a snake in the grass, but he definitely doesn’t have the coaching prowess. He basically has the same record Mark Richt had at this point in his Georgia tenure.

Kirbs is a phenomenal recruiter (bagmen) but thats where it ends. Hes a mediocre HC and gameday manager. The talent he has right now should win him 10 or 11 games a year without needing great coaching and in game calls/management. Problem is the 1-3 games a year where great talent and great coaching/in-game management are needed are always the 1-3 games he loses in some epic bonehead fashion.

Mullz is never going to be accused of being a great recruiter, but so far Id give him a solid B. The good news is hes heads and tails above Kirby (aint) Smart as far as coaching, play calling, and in-game management is concerned.

I think the talent and depth disparity between us and them is still a little too much to overcome this year sans an epic day by us and/or a letdown game or some fluke bad luck for them. But another recruiting class like last years and I think we will probably be close enough talent wise that what we lack, Mullz makes up for in acumen and play calling. This year its close but probably not quite, next year we make a statement and put dwags on notice.
