Look, I wasnt the one who said more bad news coming. I just know what I heard from trusted source(s) regarding the rapes, the second one being I guess somewhat more egregious than the first. They were only minutes apart.

By all accounts Steele and Hill were the heroes who stopped Jalon.

As for the other incident or incidents was also Jalon. One allegation (unknown reliability source) was a passed out girl. I know there was another incident. What I dont know is if there are two or if the drink passed out girl is actually the first rape victim from the incident in the news.

If Steele is leaving my GUESS is it is related to the stress of this. I heard a drunken alcoholica was chasing him across campus constantly accusing him or running off an innocent QB and calling the girls whores and Steele a liar.
You’re so fu cling stupid sometimes. THe report says the girls were there at two different times and neither said Hill or Steele aided them. Your source is either a liar or calling the girls liars

While it's indicative that he might make a move, sources have also told Swamp247 that Steele is still mulling a decision on his future

Steele isnt in trouble and isnt getting kicked off of the team.

There’s actually talk that he asked to be moved out of jalons dorm before all this happened and was ignored.

Florida freshman cornerback Chris Steele is transferring from the school.
The former five-star recruit has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal. Steele met with UF coach Dan Mullen on Wednesday night and informed him, a source close to the situation told The Sun.
The decision stems from a request Steele made to the staff during his first month on campus, the source said. He asked to be moved to a different dorm because he was uncomfortable rooming with quarterback Jalon Jones, his classmate.
The staff did not plan to move Steele until the summer, which upset Steele and his parents, according to the source.
Then two female students accused Jones of sexual assault at the players’ dorm on April 6. That prompted Steele to seek a transfer.
Jones has not been charged but has left the school.
Regarding Steele’s decision to transfer, the Florida football program had no official comment on Thursday.
Steele committed to the Gators at the All-American Bowl on Jan. 5 and enrolled early the following week. He received first-time reps in the spring and was expected to make an immediate impact this season.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Steele was the highest-rated recruit in UF’s 2019 class, earning a consensus top-50 ranking and a five-star rating from Rivals.com.
He was Florida’s first California signee since 2010, hailing from St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, Calif

Sorry if I misspoke. I was referring to your post that according to two reporters, Steele was gone. Not trying to put words into your mouth at all. What is your gut on those reports?

If that’s true that they would not move him out of the dorm, that is beyond stupid and a bad look for DM.

If they knew jones was a bad seed and ignored steele’s desire to get another roommate then dan ****ed this up big time and is a fool.

There was a simple fix and the staff blew it.

Is this dan’s will Grier moment? Sure looks like it.

Early enrolling sure did us zero favors here -- seems like the staff didn't take things seriously and it has now cost us. Terrible look.

What. The. Hell.

This would be one of the more incompetent moves I’ve ever seen if true.

Then again, Mullen probably put English in charge of the situation and he screwed it up.

At best, they underestimated Jones' behavior and the impact it would have to wait until it was more convenient to move Steele to a new living situation. At worst, they blew it off, or ignored what was being said about Jones and it blew up in their faces.
