I don’t remember those reports. He was getting schooled like a typical freshman, but was showing a lot of promise. And I recall him getting a lot of first team reps ahead of McWilliams.
Your “WDWHA” is a bit transparent. If DM can repair this situation, I’ll welcome Steele back.

An "article" by a twitter critter whose "research" is the inferences he draws based on his belief that Steele wasnt really upset bc he saw a retweet that Steele did one one of JJ's tweets.
Twitter critters really arent aware think that twitter world isnt even slightly related to reality.

This article pokes enough holes in Steele's story that unless something else surfaces, i'm satisfied that the kid wanted to go home.

He is gone.
Several involved staff are gone too. Maybe we learned aomething about wasting 1/3 of our recruiting in Cali. If the guys cant recruit Florida then we needed different staff.

He sat in the apartment and did nothing while two women were allegedly raped....except to barge in and try to see something and laugh about it. Neither woman attributes any help from either Steele or HIll. Then Steele hauls ass to California as soon as he can. Yes, these are the actions of a "Hero".
I wish both women would press charges so there could be a full blown investigation.

Irrelevant. Labeling or even subtly implying a kid is a bust after 3-4 months on campus is unfair. Other than maybe VH III (who arrived way more polished than the average 5* CB because of dad)...
1. How many true freshmen can hold their own in their first spring game?
2. Of those, who could do against talent + experience of Grimes, Jefferson, Swain, etc?
I’m not saying he’s a sure fire 1st rounder. I’m saying it’s too early to make ANY judgment on his potential. To do so just appears to be keyboard commando blather.

He played better than Tabor's first spring game. The walk-on corners outplayed Tabor in that game. He was atrocious. Spring games mean nothing.
