Guess those Tiger redemption stories may have been a bit premature.

His back is too much of a mess to expect him to return to form. That isn't happening ever again. He simply isn't able to play enough tournaments throughout the year. He may be able to win 1 or 2 more majors over the next 3-4 years if the back holds up.

Winning the Masters at age 43 was redemption enough. Regardless if he never wins another major, he'll look back on 2019 as the year that made all the effort worthwhile.

The guy is a machine. There have been a few guys who have been called the "next Tiger," but this guy looks like he could actually live up to the hype.
