Beat scUM for the 3rd time since 1985 first, then get back with me.

I'm still of the thinking Franks has hit his ceiling, and with a year of legit film on him, defenses are going to adjust to him big time this season.
It's easy. Load the box, blitze from his left. Overpower our young line and make Franks run for his life.

I been reading those things since Street and Smith had SOS on the cover. If we ranked high late in November it means something.
Just selling magazines right now.

Hope you're right. This could be a trap game.

Yep I bet Law laughed at the people saying we better watch out for KY and Missouri beating us down in the Swamp last season. This could become a trap game easily if we don't get our running game going early. I doubt their offense does much but it could be a low scoring game possibly.

Remember Mississippi State last year? Better coaching, better DL talent, plus a true road game in cowbell hell. And the QB some of us are so scared of got the job done - despite all of the above. A year older and a year wiser, we win that game by at least 17 points and maybe a lot more than that.

There was a few times early last year that I thought he might be the worst qb we've ever had here. He made big leaps starting with the 2nd half of the USC game. I don't think you can discount the confidence he has now in his game. He's got the physical ability. It's possible that he reads defenses better and the game keeps slowing down for him. The WRs are better than last year because of the experience and time they've all put in just throwing and catching with each other. I bet Franks doubles his rushing yards too. He'll probably have more scrambles and he's obviously WAY more confident running the ball after that 2nd half of usc.

BS. I’d dig it up if I wasn’t so lazy.
Search Dooley and Kintucky. Or just look right after the game. It s pretty easy to find.

Actually losing to those teams was pretty predictable. We lost to the only two decent power running teams we played (Ugly and Kintucky) which was predictable giving our scheme of playing nothing but lightweights up front and a safety sized kid (Vosean) at inside LB.

Mizzu was the only.competent passing team we played and of course any ground and pound team will usually lose to a team throwing the ball around and scoring points, especially given that our safeties and LBs were nonexistent in pass coverage.

We will kill Miami. I think we will be top 4 going into the SEC Championship game

I love your optimism but we're no where near ready. It helps that Miami and FSU are dog **** right now but this isn't happening. We're just not that great. We are good but have a long long ways to go yet. We are moving in the right direction though.

Same shi!t new year. I just want to beat the teams we are supposed to beat and give the teams we should probably lose to a good game (maybe get a win). We was trending up in just about every facet of the program until a few weeks ago. Things seem to be smoothing out and getting back to business. The failures in recruiting DL and Safeties aren't really a big deal for this coming season but it does point to corners in the program collecting dust. If you find one then there is probably another not seen.
