Richardson is now a 3-star and dropped to #72 in Florida (meanwhile, FSU commit Jeff Sims moved up to #42 in Florida and is a 4-star).

UGA commit Jalen Carter is now the #1 recruit in Florida, moving ahead of Bowman - interestingly, both are 4-stars....so there are no 5-stars from the state of Florida?

Miles Brooks from Trinity (Jax) fell to #65 (Ga Tech commit).

Morven Joseph fell (#75 overall, 3-star).

247 only classified 12 recruits as 5 stars ?!

Scouts try to predict how well the kids will produce in college. Right now Sabanmetric regarding what makes a good WR, CB, whatever, are prevailing, bc everyone in the southeast are following his path. Everyone trying to run the same ground and pound offense with occasional play action pass (except aTm and Clempson).

The players in FL aren't any less talented than they used to be. Obviously every elite school is still trying to land the top FL kids. We need to get back to landing those kids, and the rest sorts itself out. Even if we don't get the top tier, grabbing the next tier who have played against elite talent in high division FL HS programs will be good enough to compete. We need to make that last step and not be the leftovers school.

It's pathetic. HTF does Miami have more than twice what we have and FSU, under that retard coaching staff, have 1/3rd more than we do?

The sad truth is that we last upgraded football facilities in the 80s, under Pell... and the rest of the facilities were even worse, 60s and 70s stuff.

Just one more reason why DM needs to demolish miamuh in week 0. Let the top recruits see which of the Big 3 programs is trending up and which ones are melting down.

Agree, that game is important. But obviously, by December it will be a distant memory. Need to have a good season (9 or more regular season wins, no blowout losses) finished w/ beating FSU so we go into December w/ some momentum.
