Pretty easy to tell who lives in Jax from the responses.

Poodle fans here in ATL have been calling sports radio stations asking for a home and home series alternated by a game in Jax and another in ATL.

That’s not happening.

I heard Kirby's excuses today on the Finebaum show. Dude is a moron and sounds like a hillbilly. The whole recruiting excuse is laughable. The game needs to stay where it has been for 86 years. Neither program has had any negative effect from it.

Fvkk jax.

Going to Jax doesn't make us recruit better there.

I want us to recruit Orlando, Tampa, and Ocala too, but I don't want to give up a home game every year to play in those shytholes.
You actually fell for that bait? :snicker:

Well Jax is closer to the border than Atlanta. UGA is too stupid to understand that. If they want Atlanta. Maybe we should take Raymond James.
I'm in.

It’s one the greatest events in sports. A good staff can sell the opportunity to be part of it. Leave it be.

I have no problem with a home and away schedule with him. It takes them out of Jacksonville and takes all their hillbilly fans out of Jacksonville. We’ve basically been ceding Jacksonville to Georgia as it is. Hopefully we can win that city back.

Since I was a kid Jax has become a mini family reunion weekend. Something interesting about 10+ crowding into my Uncle's Jacksonville home. I'd keep it there.

Though I do remember the fun of UGA coming to Gainesville.

The damn mutts want home and home much more than the good guys. F the mutts. Money ain't everything.

Next time we negotiate add a stipulation that all Georgia ticket holders must park at least two miles from the stadium.

Playing in Atlanta would be a joke. Zero tailgating, which is what makes the WLOCP what it is, people pulling in on Monday of game week and not sobering up until the drive home the following Sunday.

Mullen's idea is decent, but not every team could really support a neutral site game.

This might explain the Colorado and Texas games. Georgia in the Swamp when we're in Boulder and Austin?

Not to mention the Miss States of the world need those four geographic school victories just to be bowl eligible.

Didn't Kirby play in that game and the beat down in Athens. He may fear a home and home....

He was still in HS for the game in the Swamp, but was a freshman when Spurrier hung "half a hundred" on them in '95 in Athens. As Kirby lettered his freshman year, I'd assume he played in that game.

Understood...but do we move home and home or play in JAX?

It gives us an extra home game-level revenue every other year. Too much $$$ to wave away without an offsetting benefit.

Also, our destructions of them the last home & home are locked in history. How many dawgs told me “We just need to get ya’ll between the hedges”?
