Mullen took what he had and gave it a chance to win. It got better as the year progressed. Players got better. Players were in much better condition and stronger. Danny and company is a fckn breath of fresh air after a decade of desperation for cleaner respiration. Dan is Dan. He seems to have righted the ship. Get on board or fckkkk OFF...........

Don't try to bring comparisons with Mac. .
Mac? He ran the same handful of plays. Worse than Mullinz no doubt.

Mr. Play Action every single 3rd down.

Mullinz is a guy who usually puts a 50-70th ranked offense on the field. He has had a couple of 100ths and a couple better but most as a HC are right there in the 50-70 range.

He is an ok playcaller who runs a fairly standard playbook. Not a guru in anyway. He is probably the best in the SEC East but that says more about how atrocious the east is more than anything else.

Doering may welcome this comparison but I suspect Mullen does NOT. But Spurrier is the goal if not the standard at UF so it is good that Mullen is reminded of that fact.

I'm not so sure about that. Mullen embraced everything about UF including their history of offensive prowess, fan expectation, confidence etc etc. He referenced Spurrier multiple times when he first addressed the media as our coach

X's and O's they are obviously different but Mullen didn't come in here trying to temper fan expectations. In that way they are very similar. And Mullen's affinity for UF doesn't seem contrived in any way especially compared to Meyer and his rehearsed psychology b.s. he used here

The second best part of that video is the shoes. My God, can we please go back to black shoes?
