actually pretty glad to hear this. I was beginning to think they forgot that we needed linebackers on defense.... no 200 lb undersized outside linebacker/ Rush backers don't count

Oregon just got another commitment from Mississippi...why do kids from the south do well everywhere else? How are people gonna argue that it’s hard to come to the south when kids go everywhere else in the country? Just seems like complete bs reasoning.

Meanwhile Keyvone Lee keeps visiting FSU but they have him as third in their list behind Toafili and Knighton. I guess LSU leads at his moment.

Why would you put Lee at LB? You just trying to make room for Emmit's kid? Lee is RB who is projected to pop into the top 50 once this camp season finishes. Doubt he's going to stick around and play LB

Turns out I might have been right on this. Of course Marshall Faulk was recruited as a DB by all the big schools went to SDSU because they would let him be an RB and it turns out he was right not the big schools.

Are our guys really this incompetent or is the coaches board that much different than what we think?.
I don't care much what we think. I do take stock in what saban and dabo and all the other good coaches think.

We chase the same kids eventually we're just ALWAYS late to the game. Trying to flip kids is a low probability way to run a recruiting program.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... the exception to the rule.
The fact that you can find a one in ten thousand or one and a hundred thousand exception to the rule.....just proves the rule.

I know, I know, you can find a zero star division 3 player that did well in the NFL too.

What you can't find is a team full of 0- 3 stars that win championships.

Didn’t Chimp want Derrick Henry for LB? I do know while at Texas he recruited Johnny Manziel as a DB.
It’s a role of the dice for Lee. The life span for RBs is often very short and LB might be the smarter way to go......unless of course he can be a great one.

Evidently you have forgotten UCF.

Does the"stoned" rating mean that you are stubbornly refusing to acknowledge their well-documented national championship?

I found this online today, maybe Mullen can sell the dream over the course of the next few recruiting cycles.

Chip Kelly was a camouflaged fraud who ran into some combo of luck that's long run out before many were aware.
Now he's ruining what remains of UCLA's program, while thinking he's too good for them. He's on a Mayday Mayday down-glide, not deserving notice, though his players know first hand, making him Captain Queeg on the Bounty.
