Remember Auburn's AA Tucker Fredrickson? Played both ways LB and run bashing RB. He rarely came off the field. Let Lee concentrate on being his dream = RB. I'm sure Derrick Henry would have made a good LB, but what a miss.

Chip Kelly was a camouflaged fraud who ran into some combo of luck that's long run out before many were aware.
Now he's ruining what remains of UCLA's program, while thinking he's too good for them. He's on a Mayday Mayday down-glide, not deserving notice, though his players know first hand, making him Captain Queeg on the Bounty.

Er, I believe the fictitious CPT Queeg "served" aboard the equally fictitious USS Caine. It was CPT Bligh of HMS Bounty who did in fact mismanage his crew so badly that they actually took his ship and set him adrift in the south pacific. Like Kelly, Bligh wasn't much of a people person - but, he did sail an open launch some 3,000 nautical miles, thereby saving himself and his career in the process. I doubt Kelly has the work ethic or the acumen to survive the utter debacle that almost certainly looms just over the horizon for him, and his little dinghy.

Lizard, oftimes the stuff I float gives me a sinking feeling. Thanks for the bailout. I actually enjoyed reading your informative reminder.

My pleasure O' imaginative one. I've been lost at sea myself, more than a time or two. Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum - and all that rot!

Let me throw a name out here as far as RB is concerned, Jordon Simmons. 4.54/40 verified at the opening and he just ran a 4.32/40 at some camp. Out of McEachern HS Powder Springs, GA. 5'11", 185. He will need to add a few pounds. He averaged 9.3 yds per carry and 16.3yds per reception.

Turner is all over the place. Good to see we have at least two recruiters who try. The rest need to kick rocks

If we are diving that far into the 3 star heap, I'd take about a dozen Florida kids first.

Jason Eaton a 6'7", 329 OT out of Tennessee visited us this weekend. He does not yet have a Florida offer.

I like the Goods kid, but I always worry about kids from that far away. I'd much rather us get the Florida kids. At least we've been able to rob Kentucky's class this cycle!

I seem to recall us having good luck with a 4* kid from Connecticut back in Urbs time. Pretty sure though that that kid was a tight en........oh, wait.......never mind.

Well, northern kids get tired of winter.

We used to have our pick of the kids from Northeast and Midwest. Im less concerned about them than kids from Cali who arent escaping the ice and snow.

Now sure how good the competition is there though.

Clyde Pinder is ranked one spot behind him (on the DT list), but he's several spots lower overall making him a high 3-star (vs. Goods being a low 4-star). Pinder plays at Armwood, which is a football factory. I'm not sure why he's not in the class already. Maybe we're holding out for higher ranked kids, but we both know we'd (you and I, and most of us here) would rather have a Florida kid that is ranked similarly.
