The oa was pretty good. I think ozark might take the cake as best Netflix series but the oa is up there. "The widow " on Amazon prime was also pretty good. " hanna" on Amazon prime was pretty goo too.

2 years was a long wait, but the OA season 2 is mind blowingly good. Loved the first season, but this second season: woah.

Definitely recommend. It’s such a unique view and dive into dimensional travel. It’s not technologically driven at all. It’s all human. Brit Marling stars and wrote/created the whole thing. It’s easily one of my favorite shows maybe ever? But easily top 2 that Netflix has ever come out with

OA s2 was great. Interesting bringing Karim in - not part of a group, sort of an odd thread coming in and running through the main characters' storylines. I'm wondering if he'll be a part of s3 or if they bring other single season characters through. Not to throw spoilers in, but Homer's identity in s2 was an interesting twist I should have seen coming but didn't. I'd also like to know more about this 'traveller' lady giving tips to Hap and OA. It was wild through the middle with the octopus. Weird but cool and enjoyable.

The oa was pretty good. I think ozark might take the cake as best Netflix series but the oa is up there. "The widow " on Amazon prime was also pretty good. " hanna" on Amazon prime was pretty goo too.

Working my way through Ozark now, binged up to S2E8, so nearly done. It went pretty dark several times, and is trying to bring Jason Bateman's character back to being human with the questions of conscience. I loved Ruthie so far, but am wondering how this turns out. I kind of spoiled a bit for myself seeing the titles for the remaining episodes to where the last one's title makes me expect it all works out but one can never know. It's been a wild ride for sure up to this point.

As for Hanna, be aware it is a series remake off a 2011 movie with Cate Blanchett. The movie was pretty good.

I just watched a pretty weird show on FX called "What We Do in the Shadows". Apparently it's based on a movie of the same name from New Zealand that was a cult hit. It's kinda' funny and quirky. It's done documentary style and is about a group of modern day vampires all living together as roommates in a house on Staten Island. The part I thought was funniest is that there's one guy who is a "energy vampire" who can suck the life out of you with boring and mundane conversation.

I watched the original film. It had a decent concept, and there's enough to bring in humour and interesting takes on things over the course of a series, but in all it somewhat dragged at times. Perhaps they'll make the series a bit better and avoid the blah bits.

From the 2014 film, there was a fellow, Stu, that all the vampires kind of liked and agreed not to eat. This presented some pretty funny moments where he's hanging out and they make references to not eating him because he's a good guy. But, the film also brought in a twist regarding Stu later on in the film that somewhat worked, somewhat felt like a forced situation. I honestly would not have recommended the film.

Has anyone mentioned Chernobyl yet? It is fantastic.
I saw about 10 minutes of it the other night and it looked pretty good. Hate to start watching another series.

I saw this film in Georgetown in a little community theater with my son when it first came out.
We couldn’t hear a lot of it due to us and others laughing around us.
Recently rewatched it and really enjoyed it (mainly because I loved Flight of the Conchords).

I caught episode 4 of Chernobyl last night. It's fantastic, I think 4 is my favorite. It really starts getting deep into the feelings of the liquidators and the victims of the fallout.

Did some traveling this week. Watched umbrella academy( Netflix), not bad. It's a poor man's xmen. Watched dead to me ( on Netflix) Christina Applegate and James marston that was good short.( 10 episodes x 30 mins). And just banged out Chernobyl ( hbo) based on everyone's recommendations. Very good and depressing

I wasn’t too impressed by Umbrella Academy. They were so intent on wallowing in some of the characters’ quirks and eccentricities that it distracted from the convoluted plot.

I’ve enjoyed Daredevil, Jessica Jones and The Punisher on Neflix. Luke Cage is a notch behind but ok and Iron Fist is a few notches below that - and funny when it doesn’t mean to be. The Defenders had an uneven first season, all “Who are you?” introductions. Looking forward to watching the new season of Jones.

Finished season 2 of friends from college. Not as funny as the first season and the characters are all train wrecks. Fred Savage might be the standout of this season.

Started binging a show on Amazon called Andromeda. It's a Gene Rodenberry joint. Sortofa Battlestar Gallatica crossed with Firefly if you're into that sort of thing.
