The real problem is we've recruited very poorly in the front court. None of the guys outside of Payne( who's a mystery too) are even serviceable. So I'm not going to cut too much slack. We shouldn't be in this situation. Gak , Bassett and stokes are not sec caliber.

I worry about "slug-verve" White infusing our Gators with high-energy enthusiastic play??
Yep, I get disgusted at the surmise that White can't comprehend that winning requires "bigs".
That inside 65% FG shooting is how to pressure opponents into a losing collapse. That statistic, accounting for the # of points scored versus the # of possessions, never lies. Plus when an inside guy scores the entire team feels contributing. But a basket from outside is an individual's stardom that doesn't embrace the team feeling. The team can't feel like they manipulated the opponent into making that defensive error that allowed an easy basket.

Anyway, I hope the bigs we do have bring inside fire to our scoring methods. It's up to Nembrandt to paint the assist landscape for big and small teammates. Good bigs means more rebounds and defending underneath better. Great competitor K.Johnson, will he be a mystery this season? We've got many taller forwards now, i.e. defensive hands up higher, longer extensions = more denied entry passes, more swats into turnovers, etc. Can he hold his playing time? Of course, KJ has been conquering that a lifetime.

So much mystery promise in this upcoming team. Go Gators!

Not sure about that. There’s no reason he’d choose UT over us. Not one reason.
Idk. GrantWilliams had no business being drafted at all. Much less in the 1stvroundl

Why not? He’s got the size, great rebounder and defender, and he can shoot it a little bit
Too short and too slow. Not gonna be able to switch too much on pick and rolls. Even in today's small ball nba. His game just isn't perimeter oriented enough to be a combo forward in today's nba.

Some reason I thought I heard he measured at 6’9” at the Combine but I checked and I see he’s 6’6”. That changes things.

I still could see him developing his shot and being a nice 4.

As LSU sinks further into NCAA violations quicksand, might we benefit a transfer or flipped recruit?

Let it be said that all you asshats that said it was a big whiff by white if he comes here. You can not celibrate if he does. You must bow your head every time he scores a point and proclaim you were wrong and have no faith in the program.

“Celibrate”

Saying it’s a whiff IF he doesn’t come here doesn't mean we wouldn’t be thrilled if he does. Lol your logic is flawed.

My thoughts are that he maybe was leaning towards UF when he started this process. He might have even left VaTech with UF in mind. I am sure he was given lots of things to think about at each of his visits after UF, but the longer this goes, the further back in time the other visits are the more he might head back towards his initial view.
