This team should compete well with every opponent.
Blackshear joining should hike up the team's enthusiasm.
Will our enthusiasm take off and leave subdued coach White behind?
Looking forward to Locke being completely healed and swishing 3s in high %s. Hope he draws out defenses.
Hoping 6'11" Gak plays great. He deserves some reward for his struggling wait.
What will our scoring average be? How high-ranked will that White Defense be?
Out of the blue, White's got a top10 team. How fun will next season be. Yes, White has built it.
Love to read how Blackshear made this decision. What coaches did what ?
Who can tell whose skills will catch fire, kindled by new "partners"?
Looking forward to watching this team gel and execute superb basketball. Go Gators!

Clearly, the playing rotation this coming season will be:

Guard: Nembhard, Locke, Mann
Wing: Lewis (with Johnson or Locke getting a few minutes at the 3)
Post: Blackshear, Payne, Johnson

So maybe one other player from Bassett, Gak, Jitoboh and Stokes can get some mintues, but 200/7 = 28.6 minutes so there are not a lot of minutes available. I will not be shocked at all to see a transfer or two now.

DFS was big time his senior year with us under White and parlayed that into the NBA and Dallas Mavericks.

Wait, I thought White wasn't supposed to get big men? All kidding aside, HUGE pick up and we are even more LOADED with talent. How will it all shake out now with such a talented roster? Gotta love the troll jobs but other guys saying he was going everywhere but UF. Turns out, he was UF allllll the way cause of his meetings with White and the coaching staff. In White We Trust! Go Gators!!

Nembhard locke lewis Johnson blackshear as our starting 5. Mann and Payne our key reserves. Basset and Glover will get some spot minutes imo. Probably our most talented 7 since when the 04s were here.

Stats don’t lie. He declined in his last collegiate year and was a pre-season 1st team projection who ended up a 2nd team member. Sorry it doesn’t fit your “Everyone is awesome in a Gator uniform” bit.

Well until they have a 36-3 season and win 30 in a row, I think I won't put them ahead of Wilbekin, Young, Frazier, Yeguete, Prather, Finney-Smith and Hill.

I, for one, want to see Gak finish up as a happy, contributing Gator.
Want to see Stone prove himself.
Want our freshman to remind us of the winning camaraderie of those '06, '07 Gators.
Think about it = next season looking forward to every "next game" will add our gatorlovin' life.
Wow, I get to be upbeat about basketball and football recruiting, all at the same time.

Whites done a super job recruiting now let’s see what develops on the floor. Should be fun.

DFS increased scoring, rebounding and assists his senior year. Shooting percentages dropped but FT pct significantly increased. Parlayed it into the league.

Coach White's first 4 years at UF have been pretty darned good and, like Billy D, he has had to "rebuild the roster through relentless recruiting". He has 4 straight 20-win seasons to start his UF career (see above re: Billy D's 16 straight 20-win seasons). There has certainly been a learning curve on some of his in-game decisions, but that's to be expected for a young coach with limited coaching experience. If he has anywhere close to the success at UF that Billy D did, Coach White will have had a great career for the Gators. With that said, this season should show a lot about his coaching abilities with all the talent he has now assembled.
