Hopefully he lives and changes his lifestyle. He has been totally obese for a long time, how an athlete can stand that I don't really understand.

Probably the same as how some people can't understand someone addicted to drugs when they have tried it themselves and didn't become addicted. I am guessing if he did survive this and if he really did change his lifestyle enough losing more weight he would need a kidney transplant probably.

As did I. Lorenzen along with Hal Mumme's ballsy coaching made it easy to pull for Kentucky every week except for when they played Florida.

Seems like he never shed his baby fat from the day he was born. He's been a jovial character. a continuously on the field athlete. That amount of obesity as a "lifetime-QB" has to involve genetic saboteurs. We are all cheering for him to pull through and get stronger than ever.

Maybe he can shed a lot of those extra pounds while he gets treatment in the hospital.

Cardiac and renal failure at the age of 38. It just goes to show how fragile and tentative life really is. You can be called home at any time through some random, unforeseen, and totally unpredictable event like this.

What Doctor guidance has he been getting vs ignoring? The emergency fight he's doing now should have started many years ago - at the UK Medical Center.?? Hope his physiology is able to endure drastic measures now insistent.

Certainly not me. Go ahead and have your laughs. But to me, these kinds of situations make me take a step back and reflect on some of life's biggest questions. What is the purpose of it all? Why are we even here? And how high do those hospital gowns go size-wise, or do they just piece two together in cases like this?
