All these people with the positive outlook on Stokes leaving... Jeez I hope you are right. Personally, I can totally see him going somewhere and dominating us. Hopefully he goes to ACC or Big East or something so we don't have to play him every year. That's 5 transfers this year right or is it 6 if we count Johnson, maybe I'm miscounting? That has to be near a record for a team that didn't lose a coach or have anything drastic happen.
All of the, "Oh it's great for him to be cleaning house, all these drama queens wanting their playing time so they could go to the NBA" comments I see on here... Once again, I hope you are right. But these aren't freaking top 10 recruits or anything. These are a lot of low to mid 4 stars who surely didn't think they were going to be leaving for the NBA early or be the star of our team their sophomore year. Plenty of teams pull in much higher ranked recruits, and are able to keep most of them happy. I understand one or two leaving a year but 5? 6?... How can you possibly put any kind of positive spin on this. Why are our 4 star players so much more dramatic and demanding than every other college programs 4 stars? Or are we just grasping at straws here.
I hope beyond all hope that you are all right and I am wrong because I LOVE gator basketball. To me, Mike White tenure has screamed Muschamp. Maybe will be a good coach one day but seems like he is in way over his head at times.
