Ok so Smith will likely be the domino that gets the other DTs falling into certain recruiting classes. Not surprised he did this and now we see where Wright and Roy will look to settle.

You can declare "it's only June" but we will have probably 90 percent of our class soon.

On the other hand, there's a lot of risk with this compressed recruiting schedule. Kids are getting ranked and committed as juniors. You don't even get to see how they develop in their final year of high school before they're committed. If you try to wait and dont have the recruiting mojo, you get Buttered and stuck w HS backups stolen from D3.

There's a reason that Saban opposed this loudly and vehemently. He wanted to watch kid's senior season and start cherry picking in December and January.

Dude ... its July. We have over 5 months until signing day 1. It is still way too early to cry doomsday or thank the Lord above. A lot happens between now and then ... like a season of football.

Rumor is today or tomorrow we will get another hire. This time it’ll be a recruiting position and has strong ties with Lakeland, IMG and others.

Chantz Williams should also be committing today or tomorrow......none of his top 3 (us included) will take him so itll be Miami. Donk will likely throw a fit if I had to guess!

Texas A&M just snagged Haynes King, my favorite QB of the 2020 class, 4.50/40, 3879 yds passing, 42 TDs passing, 4 Ints, 664 yds rushing for 8.6yds/attempt, 8 TDs rushing.
