I like his HUDL. Great athlete. Looks like a playmaker, and we aren’t near the cap so why not take a guy with upside who could develop into a WR or a DB.

His HUDL is sick. At least a dozen TDs from the WR, RB, and Wildcat positions, and at least 3 INTs on defense, a nice punt return, and one pass. I'm not sure how this kid is so low ranked. Not that he should have been a Rivals 300 or anything, but the HUDL video is sick - he's a hell of a football player!

You don’t want to make Percy comparisons, but functionally that is what he is. He’s 6’1” and can plant and change directions like a smurf. And he can catch. And he supposedly runs a 4.3.

If he really ran a 4.3 at a camp or something close to that, I suspect no one thought he would qualify. Otherwise he would have signed with Toledo or one of the other programs on his list. So he surprisingly qualifies late in the summer and he calls around looking for a spot and UF has one.

BTW, he is listed on a website as running an 11.05 100 meters in high school track last season. That is certainly not slow.

That tape is significantly better than his rating. Still probably wont make it onto the field.
