UGA. Period. Why? Vince Dooley helping rob us is 1984. Lindsay Scott. But a refresher yet again, the clincher....

1942: 75 and oh![edit]
Having lost most upper-class players to service in World War II, the 1942 Florida Gators brought an inexperienced 3–4 squad into Jacksonville for the 1942 contest with Georgia.[9][10][34] The Bulldogs, on the other hand, still had many veteran players thanks to the draft deferments of the players who were enrolled in the University of Georgia's ROTC program, and brought a 7–0 record and No. 1 ranking to Jacksonville.[34]

Georgia halfback Charley Trippi and Heisman Trophy-winning back Frank Sinkwich combined to score seven touchdowns as Georgia crushed Florida 75–0—the largest margin in series history.[9][10][35] The Bulldogs finished the regular season 10–1, won the Southeastern Conference championship, defeated the UCLA Bruins 9–0 in the Rose Bowl, and were named national champions by multiple polls and ratings services.[36][37] Meanwhile, the depleted Gators[38] did not win another game during the 1942 season, and with even more players joining the war effort afterward, would not field a team at all in 1943.[9][10][39]

Ala-phucking-bama is our main rival. I got hooked watching Spurrier bring Florida to Glory. Ever since the SEC split, it's always been Alabama that we are measured by. They are the best team in the opposing division. We are the best team in the East. It's Lakers/Celtics. Yankees/Redsocks.

The votes will be overwhelmingly in favor of UGA. Naturally. We're in the same division.

Beating FSU gives me more satisfaction.

Yep I never hear the end of it if FSU beats us. I think the cutoff is somewhere around 50 years old to what most people would answer on this question. Personally if it doesn't directly affect making the SECCG I would rather beat FSU if you have to take a loss to one of them.

This is my problem; when Uga wins they deserve to brag a little. When fsu wins and their dumbass fans start yapping about how much better they are than the Gators, they don't deserve it because they have always played a baby soft schedule. It's by far more annoying to hear their fans when they're winning over Uga's. I want fsu to lose every game ever for the rest of eternity. I don't feel that same hatred for Dawgs.

It’s an age and location answer. I’m under 50, and didn’t live in Florida until 1994 when I attended UF and my first game at the Swamp. I’ve probably hated FSU more than I’ve even loved Florida since that first season. I despise everything that is that dog sh!t hell hole. Continuing to love in Florida since only solidifies that hatred.

F!<k the Dwags too, but I can’t legitimize them by calling them the main rival over 1 national title from back in 1981 and some upsets over Florida teams that would have had the tittle stripped regardless.

You older guys give the Dwags too much props through your hatred of them over all else. They hate us. But, we beat Dwags. Spurrier changed the SEC dynamic and not even 3 of our last 5 coaches being buffoons has changed that dynamic. Just wait. Kirby will screw up a few times this year.

I grew up with my Grandfather being the lone Gator alum. He hated the Dawgs. FSU was always the girls' school to him and never took them seriously, even with Bowden. I took on the same mindset. I love beating the Noles because of what it means in-state, of course, but I inherited a feeling of superiority over FSU, no matter what.

On the other side, and the way I voted, Screw the Dawgs for their cheesy history against us, RLR, '84 and '90 and Vince Freaking Dooley. Screw them for running onto the field after the TD. Screw them forever and hang another fifty on them between the hedges. Spurrier knew it and proved it. The Noles were a punching bag and a punch line to him. It was personal with the Dawgs. I feel the same way.

In order based on how I feel when we lose to these teams.

1.UGA - i hate UGA and their fan base with a passion. I know God says not to hate but i will forever pass down to my kids that we despise UGA. Went to the 07 game by myself because I was given a ticket, stayed the whole game and was surrounded by their fanbase walking out of the stadium. I was bombarded by their fans getting all in my face barking and screaming bumping into me in a forceful manner trying to provoke me into a fight the whole way out including outside of the stadium. It was the most uncomfortable I've ever been at a sporting event. They are a low life scum of the earth fanbase. I won't even have anything red and black in my life, drives my wife crazy.

2. FSU - I also hate FSU and their fan base just not as much as I hate UGA. Also can't have anything garnet and gold also srices her crazy.

3. LSU - I don't hate LSU but I feel like there is hate between the two teams. It's always a back a forth over who is DBU (us of course) I just feel like both teams bring the hatred each game.

4. Da U - I don't have a lot of experience with Miami being 34 years old but the limited experience I have has not been pleasant. I still have nightmares of the 2004 peach bowl and my dad being so pissed he made me drive all the way home to Jax. We were supposed to stay the night.

5. Tn - Not really a rivalry when it's so lopsided in recent years but I love beating them.

Georgia. Some factors include: The special nature of the game being at a neutral site, even split, etc. The history of unusual plays that happen during this game. The home and home portion. SOS. They are in the East, and today are competitive. They are in the SEC, so that is a factor.

In the past I would have voted halfassu but given our current situation with the dwags I voted for them. They are our most important rival right now. Growing up in the SOS and Meyer years the dwags were an after thought but now not so much. Take care of them and everything else falls into place.

Also que the **** Georgia post, not sure who has it stashed away...

In no order,

Fightin wiLLLLLLLies: My number 1. Always has been. I cut off my left nut to beat them.

Tinerc: High on the list as well. When growing up, they were the ones we had to beat to win the conference.

Kittens: They’ve grown on this list over the years.

Chumps: No explanation needed. Other than the clowns, there’s no other team I want to destroy more. There mere fact they employed that trash heap will make me hate them for the rest of my time on earth.

Ugay: At the bottom of the list. For most of my football life, they were wholly irrelevant which is why they are at the bottom.

scUM: No different to me than playing some other mid level program. Hard to develop a hatred when we’ve only played them a handful of times in my years of watching football.

I gotta err on the side of caution and say you must not know many Miami fans when we play them it’s great and their fans are stuck in the glory days (although they’ve won more than the dawgs recently) although their departure from the big east is always going to come back to haunt them being in a real conference means they’ll never be elite again but mostly for the same reason Clemson is...they used to play a cupcake schedule until the bowl/championship game and came in healthy and rested much like FSU/Clemson did for the last few seasons

Where do you live? That's the key.
Have to agree with this statement. When I lived in Memphis, beating Tinerc was critical - of course they were a lot better then than now. Now that I live in the ATL area, the WLOCP is the big game. It was particularly enjoyable when we had our last winning streak as all their fans here were convinced they would win those games and were apoplectic afterwards. The best was winning when Treon threw all of 6 passes; it sooooo deflated them. Winning this year would help reinforce some of the creeping doubts some of them are starting to have about Kirby. Last night I was having some beers with a couple Ugly fans and I predicted Kirby would never win a Natty at Ugly - neither one challenged me. And I have no doubt that if I was living around a bunch of Nulls fans, they would be the one.
