If you dont know what is wrong w painted cinder block walls, drop ceilings, and stickon carpet squares, there is nothing I can do to help you understand.

Just enjoy your Keystone Light sponsored bowling tournament at the trailer park rec room tonight.
But the question you didn't answer was what you would have chosen, not what you wouldn't have...

I want you to pause at 0:22 and look at the Bama flooring being marveled at.

That's $1.49 Silk White ceramic tile from Floor & Decor. Bama got it for $1.09 plus tax and installation. And, yes, I saw painted cinder blocks in the vid, too.

I'm waiting to hear back from the SID on the cost of the carpet squares.

First thing I noticed is that floor isn't in the locker room... Impressive, but not practical for a locker room..

:lmao2: Yeah, I bet we bought monsanto special lock roomecarpet which will be replaced often, after all the previous carpet squares were from 1979 and still smelled like Wilbur Marshall.

Everyone knows we bought that shyt of a truck on the side of the highway in Williston and it was the squares raken out of the highwaybrest area bathrooms. But we got a great price

You're missing the point. NFL players get paid millions and they are drafted into the league with no ability to pick where they play. Top college recruits are free agents that can't be paid (lol) but that can choose any school they want. If you were going to spend the next 3/4 years somewhere, would you choose the Four Seasons or the Hampton Inn?

I'm saying the Gators new locker room looks better than the above pro locker rooms. AND that the pro's have carpet squares and tiled ceilings and have much more income to blow on this type of ****.

Not surprising Donkey didn't answer the question. Stick-on carpet squares are the most logical choice and they look good. Tile would be slippery and a pain in the ass to clean.

In terms of the quality of the carpet squares they bought, I wouldn't have a clue.

Does anyone have a picture of Bama's locker room? Ohio State? Clemson? Ten bucks they have carpet squares like everyone else.

Donkey's general concerns are well founded, but he's gone off the deep end on the flooring in his desperate pursuit to be "right".

Please don't steal donks ability to piss and moan. If we installed his first choice of flooring he would be hospitalized due to nothing to bytch about. Trust me, its not about the carpet squares. His medicine hasn't been adjusted in years. He hates just about everything.

I agree that the new locker room looks pretty good. My point is that the NFL isn't our competition. Bama, Clemson, Georgia, etc. are.

It was totally for the carpet squares guys, not a comparison of us trying to have locker wars with the competition.

He avoids that problem by not having a preference. That way, whatever surface they put down he can say it was the wrong choice. As for stealing his ability to piss and moan, worry not; his skill set in this area is world class. He can always find something.

They all use carpet squares, Bama, OSU, Clemson, anyone with a brain.

Carpet's carpet. It's gonna wear, esp from the abuse of a football team. You'd have to be an idiot to buy the most expensive grade. You're going to be replacing it every Feb. 1.
