Derek Dooley was pretty bad. He never won more than 6 games. In 2015 and 2016, two years after he left the program, Tennessee didn’t produce a single NFL draft pick, which means he did nothing to stock the cupboard for the next guy. He has not been offered a head coaching job since.
Even Butters had NFL quality talent at some spots on his roster after he left UF.
