This is the new walk-on TE - former HS basketball player that killed his tryout w/ Mullen. 6'6 225lbs (maybe bigger now):

Can he play Safety?

If not, can he gain 25 pounds and play ILB?

If not, can he add an additional 40 pounds and play SDE?

If not, can he add another additional 30 pounds and play DT?

Or maybe he'll just play TE?

Well, he has no stars, so , as I was told on this board he can't do any of that...

Intramural star to starting TE on the Gators? You never know down the line as having the ability to actually catch the ball is a problem for quite a few TEs.

Because it's July and we're dying to talk about anything football related including a walk on former B-ball player. It's a good thing they moved up the first game a week; God only knows what depths we would have sunk to if we had to wait until Labor Day weekend. To show I'm not above the fray, I'm thinking this guy turns into the next Antonio Gates.........

I like this addition because if he's any good it allows us to move Dante Lang over to the DL (where he should have been from the get-go).

This is from the Clemson site on WR X. Henderson (CJ's brother):

— I reported earlier in the week that I hadn't confirmed any weekend plans for four-star wide receiver Xzavier Henderson of Miami (Fla.) Columbus.

I now know that Henderson isn't currently expected anywhere this weekend. Florida had been trying to get him on campus for its recruiting event on Saturday night.

Perhaps Alabama rounds out Henderson's top three right now. More from our Alabama site on how the Tide view Henderson:

"Henderson is another worth keeping an eye despite the majority feeling Clemson holds the edge in his recruitment. The South Florida standout visited Tuscaloosa for the day last month and is working on deciding which five official visits he’ll take. Henderson is familiar with Nick Saban from the Tide head coach’s time recruiting his older brother. Saban had an in-home with the elder Henderson in the 2017 cycle. Talking to those close to the situation, there is a great respect for the Tide in the Henderson household. Running backs coach Charles Huff has maintained consistent communication with the elite wideout and has the Tide in striking distance to keep this one interesting. Also worth noting: no one on the Tigers' side thinks this recruitment's a done deal for Clemson."
