Do you know why he's leaving LSU? All I could find was something about him being suspended for their bowl game, but he participated in their spring practice. Can you imagine how upset their fan base would be if he transferred to UF and had a big play against corndog?
Am I correct he would have to sit for a season or is there some smoke about getting a waiver?

Not really sure. I’ll look around and see if there’s a reason. Either way I’ll tske him ina heart beat.
I do believe he has to sit though. He’s not a grad transfer.

I agree he'd absolutely be a take. He was a highly rated recruit and got on the field for them as a frosh; impressive considering their talent at DB. I knew there was no way he'd be a grad, but I was wondering if perhaps a now former LSU baseball player maybe called him a bad name and that was enough for him to get a waiver from the NCAA.....

If an lsu kid is transferring after being benched for behavioral issues we probably dont want him. You have to darn near pull a jameis winston to get benched for poor behavior at lsu.

The back story about him is that he wanted to come to UF or FSU but he acceded to his father's wishes and signed with LSU. When he entered the transfer portal the first time, his father without consulting him announced that he was back and Kelvin said that he was not. There has been some acrimony between Kelvin and his father. Some theorize that the father got some extra benefits during his recruitment. He was also not thrilled with the coaches because his position was given to Derek Stingley (5*) because it was promised to him during recruitment. He is a great talent and hopefully he will be happy at Florida if he comes here.

Edit: We are not trying to sell him time at corner are we? Hill and Elam are both Freshman.
