Im going to say it's more of the defense making him throw.
His offense is pretty simple in the aspect of if you drop a safety in the box, he throws. If you show two high, or he otherwise has a box advantage he runs.

To that extent, the defense can pick their poison. (Of course, it isn't effective if you have a Qb who can't run and throw well.)

I’ll believe we can keep guys like Toafili in state when I see it but i don’t think he goes to FSU and it will be nice to see their idiot base deflate over the remainder of recruiting season and the numerous beat downs that will ensue thereafter.

Bowman signed a financial aid agreement w/ Clemson (players can sign these on August 1st of their senior year of HS). Not a good sign if we're hoping to flip him. We need to get in on a RB badly, otherwise do we go a cycle without signing one?

Not sure what makes people think we ever had a shot at flipping this guy. I don't have any inside info like some of our other posters, so maybe that's why I am so pessimistic, but what signs did this guy give, once he committed, that he wasn't all Clemson?

Well, what makes people think we have/had a shot is where he plays HS football. But once Clemson wants somebody they usually get them....

I agree. I would have loved to get this young man. especially with him being a Lakeland guy, but once he committed to them I pretty much figured that was that. Not saying the staff shouldn't still make a run at him if they think that they have a shot, but I have little hope that this ship hasn't sailed.

Mentioned it before but the Lakeland to Gainesville guarantee was made up by the fans and twitter, its not the reality.

Not binding but definitely not a good sign. Though I wasn’t really holding out hope for a flip. I was hoping we would get back on Lee but apparently he was told at FNL he has to have a really good year this year...he’s likely to commit to penn state soon because apparently he’s not a take. Toafili will probably pick fsu so not sure where we would get a top flight RB from

I am thinking we are going to end up with a #13 area class again under Mullen as far as recruits making it to their first camp. You can be good as long as you develop that talent but that isn't going to win the SEC or CFP as long as Georgia and Bama are recruiting how they are.

Hasn't this been clear for a while now? He is a take at LB or some defensive position, but not a take to the UF staff at RB apparently.
