I’m looking on line for one right now. I like pissing off thugs.

The Most Arrested College Football Teams In America

Oh shoot fire, no matter what, we can't seem to make the top 20 on any list!! We have honestly become pretty boring and saintly the last few years which is most probably why we have not been too good in football. On Aug. 24th, I plan to lock myself in my home, turn off my phone and shut off the internet so my dear Gator friends can't get to me. I am not a pessimist, but am realistic. 'Course, if by chance we win, I promise not to brag 'cause I will probably be in shock anyway. Just hoping for a good game.

On a side note, my son called today stating that he & family went to a Mom & Pop restaurant in Madeira Beach a few weeks ago when an older gentleman came in. All tables were full, but they had an extra seat at their table, so invited him to join them. My grandson will be a sophomore @ FAU & had on an FAU shirt. The gentleman stated he worked @ FAU...after some discussion, he introduced himself - it was Monte Kiffin. My son stated that physically he looked really old, but mentally was real sharp and they really enjoyed their visit with him. He still assists coaching the FAU defense.

Building on this - anyone have special plans for this game, given it's the only one on that day?

Most football weekends we have 'football, fireplace, and pizza' all day long at the house. Given this is the ONLY game on tv, we're going to Primanti Bro.s that just opened up near us (PA chain of sports bars with pretty good food). We'll plan to deck the whole family out in gear so there's no doubt who we are watching.

I know some of you are going to the game, but I'd expect it's a great chance to have a party at the house or something. Maybe even invite some 'Cane fans over for some abuse. Any plans?

Fireplace?

Yeah, we live in PA so during the fall we can run the fireplace a lot. For August....notsomuch

Though, on a somewhat related note, when we lived in G'ville my wife cranked the AC down to the high 60's so she could run the fireplace. Pissed me off to no end.

That sounds like something Mrs. G would do.

Love Primanti Bros!
My wife is from the Pittsburgh area and we eat there every time we go back to visit her family. Back in June we went to the original location on The Strip and I had the 'Founders Favorite' (Joe, Dick and Stanley), capicola, turkey, roast beef and provolone. I ate the whole thing while knocking back of couple of Two Hearted Ales (from Founders). :fistbump:

We headed to the airport after that and were looking to get some food for the long plane ride back to Seattle, and lo and behold, they have a Primanti Bros. in the airport too! We didn't get anymore sandwiches, but we did enjoy a couple of beers before our flight.

Oh, and we're having our son's 10th birthday party on the 24th, so I'm going to have to watch the game on replay. :sadnanner: But family comes first, then Gators.

Having a cookout before the game followed by one hellacious victory party after the game, Go Gators!!!
