Total clown, so the friendship is fitting. He literally knows one sport. Why anyone thinks it's a good idea to have someone project as an across the board expert on all sports is baffling. Same with Kellerman.

I'm a fan of Kellerman when it comes to his boxing analysis. As far as his opinion on pretty much everything else makes me wanna hold him down and rub dirt in his mouth.

Yeah, I didn't specify the boxing aspect, but that was my point. As far back as I can remember, he was the boxing guy. Now, he's breaking down Lebron, Federer/Djokovic, and MLB trade deadlines. It makes no sense.

Smith knows basketball. That's it, and there's really nothing wrong with that. Take a look at any baseball or hockey thread on here over the past 5 years, and you won't see many comments from me. I just don't get this push to have people discuss all things. You'd think they would have learned with his show, which debuted during the lead-up to the 2006 NC game, when he repeatedly bashed the idea of not giving Michigan a rematch and ranted about how UF had no business being on the same field. Again, total clown.

I was living in Memphis in '06 and worked around a bunch fans of various SEC teams (though mostly SEC West teams or Tinerc), but two of my co-workers were big Meatchicken fans. I had to endure regular verbal beatings leading up to that NC game. The day after the game they were so embarrassed they wouldn't even look up when I walked in the office. To their credit, they ate a lot of crow and humble pie for awhile. I was pretty easy on them, but the rest of the office, being loyal SEC fans, really let them have it for years on how weak the Big Ten was.

Stephen A. Smith revealed his projected college football conference champions. When questioned on why he picked FSU to win the ACC over expected champ Clemson, SAS replied that he was great friends with FSU HC WiLLLLLLLie Taggart, and that he believed in his coaching ability. This is actually exactly what we need, a fair chance for Willie to get his guys in and change the culture without being unfairly judged. The national college football media (Mandel, Feldman, Forde, and Staples) have not really been kind to Willie. We need a good SJW to take up Willie's case on a more prominent front and get these other, college football specific, WHITE, reporters to lay off Willie as part of their clearly (though perhaps unknowing) racist agenda.

Ask yourself THIS (with dun dun dun music): "If Willie was white, would he be getting this heat about not having a playbook, lining up without enough players on the field or more organized dancing than plays?" We all know the answer, so stop being biased and let the man do his job. SAS is right on point again.

Maybe someone will offer an opinion: who among current FSU commits do we wish were committed to us?
None, but there's a few more on the bottom of our commit list that I'd like to send their way.

When I saw AR’s post I actually looked at their commit list and came to the same conclusion; none of their guys appeal to me that much other than maybe the one WR (Wideman?), but not real high on him either

Then why, in the recruiting thread, are we so distraught that they have more Florida top 50 commits (or whatever)?

I never said I was distraught. Their last several classes have been unbalanced with a heavy dose of db’s & wr’s. Very few 4*s on either side of line. It will potentially haunt them for a while. They (and scUM) recruiting decently in Florida is to be expected. It’s the out of state schools doing so well (at the Florida schools’ expense) that I find distressing.

Wasn't thinking of you. Someone was worried that we were getting out recruited in the state of Florida by both Miami and FSU.

Because Clemson, Bammer, Ugly and several others are taking the ones we want.

It's just a means of camparison. When you are closer to Kintucky, Vandy and UCF, you arent going to last long.

Shambles huh? Two top 300 RBs n we can’t even get our recruiters to talk to kids and we’re handing out terrible offers to RBs as LBs...I hope to god we’re not this incompetent and there’s something I’m missing because losing out to the clowns on these kids is just pitiful...they’re signing up to run behind a Pop Warner caliber O line and dance during practice with no playbook and a coach that is a complete embarrassment...I’m officially changing my status to dumper until I see that we can beat the in state schools in recruiting...this is just so beyond the pale I’m left without cogent thoughts to string together to describe the ineptitude we’re displaying

So, which FSU commits do you want?

The two RBs and their WR but it’s a perception issue with a higher ranking and especially with the “flips” of Joseph and Griffis

If Bama and Clemson are your problem, why &#@$&+ about FSU out recruiting us? I am only asking for something rare on a sports board----consistency. If they are out recruiting us, then they aren't really in shambles and we should kill this thread. If we don't really want their commits, then we should stop whining about being out recruited by FSU.
