Why not, right? Seems like the NCAA gives them out like candy these days. He should submit a copy of the request Justin Fields submitted and cross out everywhere it says "Fields" and write in "Cox."

Honestly, the entire Fields waiver was based on his feeling unsafe as a black person with the racial slur comment made by the fellow uga student baseball player. While it may have been directed at Fields, the reality is any black player should be able to make the exact same claim and can't be met with any logical argument. If one player can use that excuse, then all the black players can. Otherwise, you're openly forcing them to stay in an environment that you've already acknowledged was unsafe.

Might have been answered but why can’t he claim fraud? If he says he was lied to why isn’t that a point that can be raised?

He’s our only buck with the correct weight though, right? Not much growth needed compared to Donkey’s favorite 210 lbers.

And we can “what if” all day. What if Franks gets arrested tomorrow? What if Heggie gets injured again? What if Wilson goes down with another injury? Or another DB gets in trouble? What if one of those freshman bucks gets in trouble and Cox hadn’t come here? Who knows the answers to any of those but the team will deal with it. I’ll take the chance of more talent than not.

now without the SEC waiver

Don't get this. So basically he is not ever going to play for UF unless he gets an SEC waiver? Then why announce he transferred at all before he is granted the waiver? Also if Kirby could so easily block it if he protests to the SEC then why even bother?

I think half of these rules are myths created on message boards.

I’m sorry - I meant to ask what you are hearing about Joseph.
For all those interested, we will be landing KJ as well. I’m being told he has to finish up his summer class first and will be transferring...expect this in the next week or so

According to 247
He will need an NCAA waiver to be able to play at Florida in 2019, if not he will have to sit out a year at the school of his choice before being able to play on Saturdays again due to NCAA transfer rules. He will be able to practice with the team during fall camp and the reminder of the season despite not being able to play unless that mentioned waiver is grated.

He will get the waiver, it seems everyone does now in college free agency.

So when are you going to tell us what Mullen did to you?

He just landed a consensus 5* LB who's leaving one of our biggest rivals and you still figure out a way to put a negative spin on it.

I dont think so, unless it's something like you can't get admitted to the college. but I also believe he contests that he was dismissed.
