That’s not how that works...

Right and Appleby could not get a waiver in basketball even though his coach was fired for abusing players. You do not get a waiver unless you apply for one. If you think the team and the player will benefit the most by not seeking a waiver you don't or if the player wants you to, you might tepidly seek a waiver.

Not what I was referring to. You think this guy, who will be a junior in college before he plays a down at UF if his waiver isn’t approved, will stick around for 3 more years just because of the NCAA 5 year rule? My guess is that if he’s as talented as people say he will be gone after his junior year in college, whether he plays this year or not.

I agree. Does he seem like a guy who can immediately be in the rotation this fall? .
well it appears he's immediately in the rotation.

we love our three stars and three star whispering until a 5-star transfers in and then they immediately play (Grimes Cox).

What does “tried leaving multiple times” mean? Like the staff kept talking him out of it?
I heard it is a lot like Trailerbammer kidnapping a recruit, which happened a lot under a previous Gator regime I was told.

At least we finished second a lot, and that was good enough for me.

Obviously, physically he is ready to play. But he has been on the team a few days. His position (ILB?) is a leaders position on the field ... shouldn't he know the guys around him and their assignments (as well as his) a lot more than a few days to immediately contribute?

Guys will follow a super talented guy. No doubt about that. The question would be whether he can learn the position fast enough. My guess is it would be rocky, especially at first, but he’d pull it together by mid season if all his reps were with the first team.

I create words that you need ...... excessive self-praise = laudacity.

.... all natural cosmetic = holipstic

.... a list you wouldn't be caught dead on = obitunary.

..... legal case that toys with any slippery slope = lawchutes.
