I would love to see Kerwin light things up at USF. As to the rest of them, I really don't care except to see f$u sink further into McElwain-esque misery. Go Gators!

Weird that the Gators are practically the only program in the state with an established QB.

Fair to say that, at the moment, F$U has slipped behind scUM, USF and UCF?

I think that USF is going to be the most improved. Their defense played 7 freshmen last year, has more experience and more depth. I believe that Kerwin is one of the best offensive coaches in college football and has a knack for getting great performances out of unheralded players. Hope they kick ass and take names.

I like Strong and I think Kerwin is going to do better than he should with the talent that he has, but if there's one thing I won't fault Mullen on it is having that sixth sense in play calling. I think the talent difference alone is going to put Strong out of his depth and Kerwin will probably score more than we should let a team with USF's talent. But I don't think either on of these games will end up close.

I loved Kerwin as a player and love him as a coach. I’ve wondered if the breakneck 24/7 pace of a P5 program was a good fit for him. He’s certainly been successful everywhere he’s been.
