Which scenario would you rather have happen in the regular season and why?

We go 11-1 but the only loss is to UGA.

or

We go 9-3 and beat UGA.

Discuss!

Inconclusive data. Who are the 3? If it’s Lsu, Mizzou and Towson, I’m probably in. If it means losses to um, ut, and fsu, I’m really nauseous just thinking about it. We’re just back to the Zook years in that case.

But to be clear, no successful year ever featured a loss to uga. See Spurrier’s comments following ‘97 fsu. So A is simply not an option.

Beating UGA is more important. Have to turn the tables and the perception. Cut into their recruiting, etc.

If the dwags lose 2 conference games giving us the east, then I would take 11-1.
If there's no title on the line I'd take the dwag win.

Yea I'm gonna go with 11-1 season. I think it does the same job that beating UGA does which is continues to turn the corner in recruiting. Plus 11-1 could be a possible playoff spot like Bama had 2 years ago depending on what everyone else does.

I for one think we have a great chance to beat UGA this year. They shouldn't be able to throw on us at all they don't have 1 proven pass catcher on the whole team and we have 2 possible All American CB. If we can play man coverage and stack the box they might not score 21 points unless they still run all over us.

Another way to frame the question:

Would you rather beat Georgia or go to the ATL?

Going 11-1 and losing to uga can still possibly keep us out of Atlanta and the playoff if both bama and uga are undefeated. In that scenario I'd much rather us go 9-3 and beat uga.

Also, I'd rather beat uga than lose in Atlanta, but I'd also rather win in Atlanta than beat uga.

We don’t have safeties.

We need more clarity on this issue..... OP, please include a fourth option... we go 4-8 again but beat UGA, ruining their SEC and National Championship hopes.

What's that got to do with our CB's? I'll take our CB's 1on1 against their Wr's. Are you saying our CB's are going to lose and need the Safeties help?
Yes, I believe safeties play a role in the passing game and a weakness there can be exploited.

Can we add the "burn the whole fvkking state of Georgia down" option?
