Guess it would depend on who the three losses were to, beat the pups and lose three SEC games and most likely still out of the SECCG.
Lose to the Dawgs would mean they would have to lose two SEC games for the Gators to make it to Hotlanta.
i'd take the 11-1 it might be enough to make the final four.

The major difference is we have 2 All American CB that will not allow their Wr's to get an opportunity to need a Safety in the passing game.

Kev - I think you’re drastically underestimating the amount of time Grantham puts at least one of our safeties into man coverage on a WR/slot. It’s not even the same safety every time, to try to get the best coverage safety in that role. He largely lets the offense dictate it. Our CBs can shut down their men and still have a WR-S matchup.

On the bright side, the Dwags and mussmart are one of the few teams to not take advantage of that potential mismatch as often in favor of playing in 12 personnel most of the time.

This thread is in shambles, a disgrace. Time for a Ham Sammich (with Cheese and mayo cuz I ain't no communist).

Seriously though, voting Sammich means you dislike the other choices and find the entire poll a ridiculous waste of time. Not exactly, "None of the Above," more like "Why Bother Voting," the question is stupid. Or maybe it just means your hangry like OX.

False. Mayo spreads happiness. Communism spreads discontent.

Weird statistic though commies are almost at 100% literacy in their countries...so it spreads that as well (just to read their propaganda)

Going to the ATL should always be the goal, but to knock UGA down a notch or two right now is the priority.

Going 11-1 doesn't come close to guaranteeing a conf championship. Georgia is our biggest long term threat. **** Georgia. 9-3.

To playing along, 3 losses while beating Georgia contains at least one, if not more embarrassing losses that can set back the program. IF I couldn't choose ham sandwich I would take the UGA L and hope they lose to A&M, Auburn, or someone else in the East. Much better than losing to a probable 2-4 Carolina team (still waiting on how people think they lose Deebo, but Muschamp develops his team better than Mullen advances in year 2, which is what you think if this loss is probable in your mind right now), or an upstart UT team or FSU or whoever.

You know which side of the coin the series direction has been headed by the fervor. It's decidedly Georgia.

Twenty years ago? Yeah, we all hated them, but we owned their ass. They were an after-thought.

Not now.

It's a trick question, because I don't see three teams beating us while we have strong enough team to beat ugly.
I would take 9-3 and beating Ugly tho, if it means winning our division and a chance for the SEC Championship.
But it's an unlikely scenario.
It's more likely that we will beat Ugly and go 10-2, with a loss to a weaker SEC East team and maybe Auburn or LSU.
I hope that we run the table in the east, and of course want to win every game.
But beating ugly should be #1 at tthis point. And beating them will go a long way...like a domino effect.
To put it more clearly, we absolutely MUST beat Ugly. We have to win this game--for many reasons---and I think we will.

In poll context, 11-1 trumps 9-3 every moment of every second of every minute of every hour of every day. Snuffing LSU, UK, USC, Mizzou away and defending the Swamp vs Auburn, FSU, UT with UM cherry on top don’t sucketh the wang in any way, shape or Fromm.

Furtherto in this scenario, DM and Co adapts and overcomes the adversity of the pre-season fustercluck quite admirably...

I like 11-1 but it's no guarantee of going to ATL. One would think that would get you there. But certainly don't bet the bank on it. It would only guarantee a NY6 Bowl.

There's some dancing in the street over 9- 3 last year.

Apparently some losses dont count if your linebacker is out , or if a cornerback is out, or even if it's the week after the Georgia game.

I'm sure they'll be reasons why three losses this year losses wouldnt count also.

I know. But I still like our chances against Michigan in the bowl game. We’ll see.

Also funny... some people on here claim certain wins don’t count because they have a crappy coach or certain players weren’t playing.
