Congrats. Good school and beautiful part of Va. I know several grads and they are all solid folks. Of course the school was a little different in their day - all the “rats” were brothers. Good luck to her!As it should be.
Today was quite busy. The wife and I dropped off our youngest at VMI to begin hell week for her freshman year.

Maybe I just assumed, but I thought that WAS hell week. Actual academics don't start until a week from tomorrow. Are you referring to a different time of the school year?

We love the area - beautiful mountain views.
The culture has changed a bit since becoming coed 20 years ago, but they still maintain very tough standards and an outstanding reputation of building solid leaders. Very proud of my daughter for accepting the challenge!

but you're right, LA hospitality is extremely overrated. Not saying ppl there are unfriendly, but the hospitality in Ms, Bama, and even UGA in my opinion is better. Their food is definitely better than those 3 states tho. Watch him spin this as i said LA ppl were 'trash' or 'rude' tho...

Sounds like you are the one looking to compare. Seebee and I have no reason to. I suspect he is confident or satisfied with his record of accomplishment, I feel similarly. Not sure you can say the same.

LSU girls were very hospitable. I always liked when they came to town. it seems their girls plan did not involve a hotel room.
