Franks runs for one and throws for one. Perine takes one to the house. Miami is trying to move the ball to get some points before the half and it backfires on them with a Hendo Pick 6. ( 28-3 ) Half-time score.
Second half: Malik Davis busts off a long TD as well, letting everyone know he's back and ready to play! Gators get cocky and Miami answers with a TD. Gators get back to business and special teams return the kickoff for a TD. We also kick a field goal early in the 4th making it 45 Gator points.
Mullen and the Gators "O" continue to grind Maimi down in the 4th quarter... they drive the ball down inside the 15-yard line... But with 2 1/2 minutes left, the drive is stopped on 3rd and 2 on a handoff, when the RB stumbles and falls instead of walking into the endzone. Mullen elects to let the "backup kicker" get some "game experience" and he puts one between the goalposts.
Miami is pissed and Diaz says, "This will help more than we know."

The key to this game is stopping the run. I don't think they'll be able to pass on us with their QB situation and our CB's. However our depth on d-line appears to be taking some major hits with injuries and possible suspensions. If we stop the run this game gets ugly for UM. If they can run on us they'll keep it closer than we all want. I fully expect Mullen's offensive scheme to be top notch and we'll put up points even if our o-line isn't amazing.

Based on what - my opinion that our offense won’t be firing on all cylinders this week and we’ll only win by 14? Or my constant arguments with @Swamp Donkey and @ltraz about patience in recruiting or obvious anti-Mullen bias? Your take doesn’t make much sense.

Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I’ve agreed with you more often than not lately. At the end of our last recruiting cycle, I enjoyed watching you try to find ways to complain about our inflated (with hindsight) 2019 class.
