What side? I generally stay in the middle. Not happy with the performance, happy with the win, not sure what it means (if anything) for the rest of the season.

I could care less whether you thank me or not. It’s not why me or any other service member (for the most part) does it. That probably says a lot more about you than me though.

Seems self explanatory... I’m proud of the unit I serve with. I could care less what you or anyone thinks about that. That said, I did ask to change my user name about 1 year ago but ox convinced me to keep it.

A little sparring session.

Enjoy the win.....only. There was definitely more to be displeased with than good. But I'll take it a win, first week, over a rival, adverse officiating, sloppy play, questionable play calling, thug acting and talking QB, and could not tackle. In many years this team would have laid down against the Co-Caines. With a lot of work to do, and I mean a lot, it could help down the road. Just celebrate we're 1-0, that's about it.

I love Dan Mullen, but the play calling last night was not very good, IMO. We have real problems at the 2 safety positions and when we come up against a team that can pass protect we could get shredded. Our D-front is great and the linebackers are better than in the recent past, but this might not be the lockdown defense everybody thought. The O-line is still very average and to me Franks hasn't made the dramatic improvement everybody seemed to think. Miami's defense may end up being the best we face all year unless we play Bama in Atlanta, but we MUST find a way to run the ball better than 1.9 yards per carry. Lots of opening game-type mistakes and a win is a win. But the lack of composure at times, the poor tackling and the sieve-like offensive line gives me great concern for a team ranked #8.

If you read the game thread last night you would think the Gators lost by 20 points. ;) That said it is worrisome how sloppy they were especially after how well they ended the season last year.

the big thing is can Mullen get a quarterback in here in the next couple years that can be like a third-team All-American.

Enjoy the win??? Before or after the game??? It's hard to enjoy a game when 90% of the time you're doing a facepalm. After the game it's hard to enjoy the win because you remember doing the facepalms.
