I've recently discovered my Shelby is leaking water from under the glove compartment. Anyone else ever have this issue? It's not from the AC as it only happens after heavy rains. The windows also frost over from the inside while sitting in the driveway after a heavy rain? This is new as I've owned the car for 3 years now and never had this problem until a couple of weeks ago. Do I have a bad windshield seal?

Known issue. Check the cabin filter on the passenger side. There is a drain under the plastic cowl. It can get clogged.

I don't think it's the AC drain....just started once we had real heavy rains a week or so back. Besides what would an arrogant(European car driving) prick like yourself know about Mustangs....

You Tube just gave me a good idea where to look. Drain grommet gets clogged with leaves and since my car sits outside it's most likely the culprit.
That's exactly what I was trying to address, and it's a known issue.

:highfive: Got it.....stuck my middle finger down into the gooey leave filled hole and about a gallon and half splashed out from under the car...hell if I keep on the fixing things the way I have been over the last few days I might just do the new supercharger upgrade myself....

After growing up with Michigan salt rust, I'm practically paranoid about rust. I'm anal about keeping the gromets clean on my Raptor's doors because they get clogged with mud and guys never clean them then wonder why their doors are full of water and rusting. I have to practically beat Son #1 about keeping a ton of pine needles and schit out of the vent intakes on his frontier because the way they designed them it goes well under the hood and collects debris by the bucket.

Yup, cabin air filter looked like a moldy douche when I took it out...fell apart in my hand. Bought a new one at O'Reilly's this morning, cleaned out the whole area and found a f vckin acorn at the bottom of the drain grommet. Replaced the weather stripping around the seal of the filter holder since half of it was disintegrated from the water trapped in there.

I'm proud of myself for doing all that while also building a lift station/drainage system for the front and back of the house today and finishing up preparations for Dorian......of course I still had time to drink the better part of a dozen beers while soaking my sweat logged fat ass in the pool.....
Needless to say my Arborist buddy will be another 5-6K richer as soon as the storm passes....fuggin trees :banghead:
