Any idea when this will be announced? I know rankings and stuff can play a part, but wasn't sure if anyone knew how close to the date it'd be.

I attend a beer bourbon & bbq festival every year and it's the same day. I hate to miss this game and am hoping I'll just be full and numb before kickoff.

Either 3:30 or 7/8. The only other game that could compete for the 3:30 slot is TAMU hosting Bama, but CBS loves the UF/LSU game, so prepare for that. We’ll know for sure 1-2 weeks from the game.

What about the UT game? Probably a noon kickoff at this point

Oddly enough, we haven't had a home night game against UT since 2005, but I think we'll break that streak this year. It'll be on ESPN2 or SECN. UGA hosts Notre Dame on CBS at 8, and TAMU hosts Auburn that day, which I'm assuming could end up as the 3:30 game on CBS. We'll get one of the night slots, though.

From what I’ve read on here it seemed like you’re the trainer for mike the tiger married a Cajun girl and you smell like dirty rice and corn dogs...glad to see you’re confirming this is not the case

Went to UF- BS
LSU - MS
Married a Louisiana Girl (That's being kind...Proof Positive Satan had siblings) Found her in a bar
Divorced
Married a N.O. Lady...Found her in Church...That has made all the difference
Have a Son-in-Law a Vet Prof at LSU
My neighbors HATE my Gator Flag

And one great reason to live here...Except for N.O. (And they can’t Procreate) this State will never be overrun by Liberals.

NOTE: You have to be a SR Vet Student to take care of the most spoiled Bengal Tiger in America.

Either noon or midnight would do equally well. UT is so pathetic that their fat AD, who was fired when he was their even fatter HC, was reported to have been on the practice field "scrutinizing" Pruit's MO, after what is arguably the worst loss in program history. As someone who lived in the Nashville area for over 20 years, I came to truly loathe UT and their imbecilic, sheet wearing, cousin marrying, half-wit peckerwood fans. As much as I detest UT FB, I actually have even greater contempt for the shytt-bird rabble that follows them. Aside from the two fan bases, the only people who are likely to watch all that closely will be those hoping both teams can find a way to lose - Phukk them too.

East Tennessee seems a lot like LA...pretty place with passionate ppl...I hate their fans but I’m sure they’re great places to live...I love being in Florida myself but everyone is different

Actually, I retired to the Pensacola area just under a year ago and we couldn't be happier. Nashville was nice enough, just don't talk about the Gators and you'll probably be OK. I'm just too old for the cold weather and I've dreamed of coming home to North Florida for decades.

Depends on records. CBS can only do two double headers a year and it appears the weekends have been decided previously. So, if we are both so-so, then this game could end up on ESPN and a night game. I think 2015 was the only non-Tebow night game we have played in Tiger Stadium in the past two decades. I could be off on '99, but I know that only '07, '09, and '15 have been at night since. LSU does not have much of a schedule after Texas and We have a good shot at being undefeated going into Red Stick.

So it looks like the SEC forced every game to the noon/afternoon slots so they could showcase the Notre Dame/UGA game on CBS at 8. So our game with Tennessee is at noon. Can't wait for that hot, miserable mess of a game. The streak of not having a home night game against Tennessee has now stretched to 7 games in a row.
