232 yards through the air so far tonight. Not too shabby halfway through the 3rd. I wouldn’t be surprised if we throw for 400+ tonight. 375 should be the minimum.
Good God. Those yards are only there because of two passes, ALL the others have been under 5 yard throws even you could make. The passing game has been an embarrassment against this enormously inferior opponent.

Oh FFS, Law’s not watching and he wouldn’t have known how we accumulated the yards (heck I didn’t know b/c I missed the 1st half). You just had to blab it on the board and clue him in.

I like Law. Funny knowledgeable poster, and nice guy in PM. Whatever his reason for leaving, it's a good choice because he spent an unhealthy amount of time posting here. If he comes back hopefully he can do it with a little more moderation next time.

Go Gators!

I wish Law the best. Hope he returns in the near future with the peace of mind that he is searching for.

:law: I could tell he was getting really upset right after the UM game. Almost shrill. He was posting here too much. Sometimes I wish I could walk away and actually be much more productive. But he owes LB an apology. He excoriated him for doing exactly what he is doing.
On one hand I want to call him a pussy and quitter like he did to others but on the other hand I think he did the right thing for him. He took inspiration from Andrew Luck.........

I'll be honest. I didn't even watch the Miami game. I don't live and die with the weekly ups and downs of Gators football anymore. So I'm kind of where Donkey is but in a different way. Because I don't think we can write Mullen off at this point. In fact that idea is pretty nuts.

I can't say if Mullen will ever win championships here. But I do believe that he is a heck of a game day coach who will instill toughness in his teams. Properly applied and supported that should amplify his ability to recruit.

We won ugly. But we won. With a week's less practice than normal against a talented opponent with top notch team speed. With a -4 turnover margin.

Step back from the ledge and ride this sh!t out like a man. Or forever take your place in the b!tch wagon.

You didn’t even watch the first game after 9 months of no Gator football, plus we were playing a rival? I get that life and conflicts happen, but not even a replay?

After that disclosure, the rest of your post, and pretty much any others you have, about just support the coaches type nonsense are baseless (including “game day coaching”, “toughness”, or “We won ugly.”) How the F would you know if you didn’t bother to watch one of the few games we have per year, or one of even less against Miami over any 10 year period?

At least Law cares and added actual analysis. Your post is just drivel about how you don’t really care. That’s perfectly ok; lots of people don’t care. Most of them don’t bother to post on this board though to tell others on this Gators’ board that they care to much about the Gators.

Ok.

Did we not have a week's less of practice?

Do coaches use run reps in practice to toughen the team and establish chemistry?

Were there a bunch of great alternatives available in the passing game that were not bring utilized?

Is Miami not a uniquely athletic team that always presents the same lateral and coverage challenges due to this athleticism?

Are we a team that likes to run laterally & take shots down the field?

Did we win a 5 turnover game against a P5 opponent and in state rival?

Does Mullen have a track record of fielding tough teams and developing his players?

Is Mullen successfully making chicken salad out of chicken sh!t week in and week out putting Ws at the top of the box score?

As for me I can read a box score if necessary. I will watch games this year, but it won't be every one of them. Life is too short to make so much out of the athletic efforts of a bunch of college kids less than half my age. I want the team to win and will be proud of them either way, as long as they give it their all and do not quit. Feel free to do what you like and think what you like.

I took the entire summer off from this place yet I get name dropped as a reason for him to stay away? I have a love/hate with law but honestly there are far more reasons why I spend less time here.

That’s said, there’s a lot of life to live and it’s better spent being less angry. A lot of people could benefit from that perspective.
