Creating this thread to discuss injuries of #1 Toney and #1 Henderson. Of course Mullen is not giving details except CJ has a minor injury (sprain?) and Toney has more serious injury.

Can we survive through September (and beyond?) without CJ? If we without him in October, our secondary is screwed.

Is Toney replaceable? Surprisingly yes.

Name and town if you wish to opine.

Toney makes a great play once in a while, but he dances way to much and does not grasp when it’s time to turn it upfield and get what you can. We are loaded at WR and can live without Toney. We need CJ back, but Elam looked petty good last night for a true freshman.

Toney only got 5 touches a game anyways. Hate that he's injured and hope he recovers, but his absence doesn't make a huge impact on the offense. CJ injured is a big blow to the defense. We'll be fine in Sept. without him but need him back in Oct.

Cant believe everything, but Twitter seems to think toney has a broken arm and cj is in a boot with a "sprain". We will get the official word on Monday

We have experience playing without Toney and with our WR depth, it might actually cause Franks to scan downfield more than just taking the "safe" play since Toney is a reliable catcher and always has the threat of making someone miss. We'll miss him, but can win without him.

Henderson is the bigger loss since we'll need his experience moving into October against some top teams/QBs.

I sit directly behind the Gator bench and CJ came back out in a boot and Toney never returned with what looked like a broken arm. I will say, from the stands Copeland looked like the real deal.

Henderson definitely sprained his ankle. That’s going to nag him the rest of the year, it’s just a pain management thing from here on out.

Ankle sprains are not just pain management, It becomes chronic instability if mismanaged. Chronic instability affects performance particularly at his position. Hopefully it will be managed correctly and that can be avoided.

Now you've done it. No one questions Sad's superior intellect when it comes to injuries.

CJ is a killer come LSU time if not back at full speed. Everyone remembers the results of losing our top cb last year.

I really like Toney and can't understand why he doesn't get more touches but I believe Copeland has a higher ceiling.

He acted like a broken wrist to me. Been there and done that.

I agree about Copeland. He must be having blocking issues if they're keeping him on the bench.

Could be blocking issues, or it could be route-running and/or learning the playbook. Some guys have a ton of talent, but don't learn too well. Who knows? But Copeland definitely has the skills and I would love to see him on the field more.
