After McElwain got thumped 61-0 to ‘Sconsin, he showed his fire to win, which burns as strong as a used sterno burner after the last Eggs Benedict has been eaten.

“I wish we could have played better, but it is what it is,” first-year Central Michigan coach Jim McElwain said

“We tested ourselves against a team that was hungry, a team that was coming out with something to prove based on last season,” McElwain said. “This team we played, it’s a program I truly admire.”

Could you imagine Spurrier, Saban, or Urban being so apathetic after a thumping like this.

Mac, you’re a lazy thief: it is what it is.

Seriously, is anybody really surprised (other than maybe Greg McElroy or Jeremy Foley)?

So am I to infer that with this result, that NussNuts was not the problem here, and it was Butters that was holding NussNuts back? I jest of course, but this is why I never call out an assistant without calling out the head coach. I congratulate CMU and them getting to watch Hee Haw 12 or so times a year. I can assure them that the 60 minute version years ago was/is much more entertaining and satisfying. :butters::butters::butters::butters::butters::butters::butters:

What's amazing about MacTard is the length of time this babbling idiot has been cheating the Peter Principle that suggests his payscale should have a ceiling of $12.50/hr. CMU is up sh!t creek until they get wise and launch him. Until then Chippewas, get used to 60-point losses.

That’s a shame.

"Look, they have no idea what's about to come," McElwain said. "I feel really good about these guys and the preparation."

The writer misunderstood. Butters meant his team had no idea what was about to come because instead of studying film Mac has them making tomato paste for his BBQ sauce.

Just read the article where that jackass called out Wisconsin. "They have no idea whats coming?" Actually he's right, they had no idea what a cupcake the Chippies actually were. It was probably the first time in college football history a power 5 team came out pissed off with an FCS patsy inspired to roll them for good measure like a open hand slap. I'm still flabbergasted we had this turd for a head coach.....

As long as he has the SEC & UF stamp on his resumee he will have a job. We ordained him for life. Like a dirty priest he leaves anguish where ever he has been.
